An: hi everyone! i'm so sorry this chapter has taken so long, i've had a really busy week with work and consequently haven't had much time to write. i hope this chapter was worth the wait, things are starting to unfold now!
Feeling the sunlight hit her face, Dianne stirred before trying to turn over onto her other side. However, her movement was blocked.
Joe was tucked in right behind her, with his hand pressed against the small of her back, snoring softly. Humming in content, she shut eyes again and swiftly fell back to sleep.
"Good morning."
Dianne opened one of her eyes to look up where the voice had come from. She then noticed that she had her head laid on his chest and their legs were intertwined. She smiled at his bed hair, wondering how someone could be so cute yet insanely attractive at the same time.
"How long have you been awake?" She asked sleepily as she snuggled back into the crook of his neck.
"Not too long. Has anyone told you how beautiful you look when you sleep?"
"Nope, but now I know you've been staring at me in my sleeping state, you weirdo."
Joe laughed, and she could feel his chest vibrating. "We should probably get up now." She continued, although getting out of bed was the last thing she wanted to do right now.
"No, I think we should stay here forever." He mumbled as he started to run his hand up and down her spine.
Kissing his jaw, she moved back and released herself from his grasp. "Come on." She held her hands out. "I mean, we both need a shower and we shouldn't waste any water." She shot Joe a suggestive look, and giggled when she watched him race out of bed.

"What's up with you today? You haven't stop smiling since you got here." Ivanna observed, whilst she was taking off her apron.
"It's nothing." Dianne replied nonchalantly, yet she knew the grin on her face said otherwise. And the bruise on her neck.
"You slept with him."
Trying not to look too shocked, Dianne just stared down at the table she was wiping, hoping she wasn't blushing too much.
"Oh my gosh, you did! How was it? Was he good?!" Ivanna exclaimed, bouncing on her feet.
"Iv! Stop it!"
She watched as Ivanna reached for the cloth in her hand and snatched it away from her. "You're telling me everything."
Jokily rolling her eyes, Dianne collapsed down on the chair. "Fine. Ask away."
"Okay okay, um, when?"
"Last night. Next question."
"Did you guys go on a date or something?" Ivanna questioned, as she leant forward to rest her chin on her hands.
"I invited him over for dinner. We drunk a bit much and...well, it happened."
"Do you regret it, then?"
Sighing, Dianne shook her head. "No, I really don't. It was one of the best nights I've had in a long time. But I've just made it even harder for myself when he has to leave."
Ivanna reached over and squeezed her hand. "Try not to dwell on that too much right now. Just enjoy the time you have together while you can, you'll regret it if you don't."
Weakly smiling in response, Dianne nodded.
"So, scale out of ten, how was he?"
Laughing, Dianne bit her lip. "Eleven."
