"Get stronger"
Those sudden words, along with the nightmare, were all (Y/n) needed to immediately waken from her slumber. She took deep pants to catch her breath as she pandered 'Just what in heavens was that?'. She's been hearing that voice nonstop, and each time it gets louder and louder.
She didn't know why she was hearing it, nor did she know why this pain quelled in her chest. She wasn't able to contemplate it for long however as her dear friend, a woman who she'd consider as her mother, entered her little home.
Anna:"(Y/n), are you okay?"
(Y/n):"Anna-san....y-yes I'm alright"
The young woman had a feeling that she was lying but chose not to press any further, and instead began wiping the sweat from her face.
(Y/n):"St-stop it! I can do it myself"
Anna:"Ah, sorry. Did you have that dream again?"
(Y/n):"Yeah, the one where I become a hero and I fight the demon lord..."
Anna:"*smile* Heh, a hero huh? Do you remember when you were little, you said 'I'm going to become a hero and save the entire village!'"
(Y/n):"That was before I was aware of my limitations"
Anna:"Now that isn't true. It's almost your birthday, right? Your going to become an adult soon. What class do you have your eye on? Swordsman? A magician? Or maybe, as a hero, it'll choose you!"
(Y/n):"*smile* I wouldn't mind being chosen for a really great class. If I am...I'll be able to repay you for raising me as if I were really your child"
Anna:"Heheh, I guess I'll look forward to that"
After some stretching, (y/n) ventured into the fields to gather some apples. There was a good yield this year so she didn't have to worry about running out. However, as she was about to pick another one...the voice in her head came back.
"Obtain the sight of the spirits...Obtain sight into all of creation"
The sight....of the spirits? (Y/n) wasn't sure what compelled her to listen to the voice, but surely enough she found herself traveling deep into the woods. The sun had finally gone down when she arrived at her destination, a lake. As she spouted the incantations, a female spirit with neon green hair came bursting out of the water.
Star Spirit:"*smile* I am the star spirit. Child of man, what is your desire?"
(Y/n):"The sight....the sight of the spirits that sees all"
