Third Person

"Pick up..." Felix placed down a +4 card in the pile above Chan's previous one. "8!"

The two burst into a fit of giggles, Chan beginning to draw another card.

"Pick up..." An evil grin slid on Chan's face. "12!"

Felix's jaw dropped in disbelief, a pained smile appearing as he reluctantly began drawing cards. "Shit," he muttered.

Thankfully, it was quiet, so when Chan's mother entered the room, she didn't hear the foul word. "Chan sweetie, you should show Felix where the guest room is."

"He's so much more like a brother than a friend though.." Chan whined. "Can't he sleep here?"

"It's up to the robot," Mrs. Bang chuckled.

Felix grinned. "I'd love to sleep with you, Channie~"

Chan's heart rate increased, his face heating up again as the robot laughed, Chan's mother leaving the room.

"A-anyway, I have an extra pair of night clothes I think will fit you," Chan stuttered, changing the subject. He placed his cards facedown and went to his closet, rummaging among the clothes before pulling out a white T-Shirt and loose pants. "Would these be alright?"

"Of course," Felix replied. "Should I change now?"

"If you'd like."

He slid off the bed and took the clothes from Chan before lifting his shirt above his head. Chan's cheeks turned crimson and he turned away, but the image of the robot's well-built body was already burned into his skull. He didn't expect him to change on the spot like that.

Once the sound of fabric stopped, Chan peeked over his shoulder, sighing in relief when he saw Felix dressed. Oddly, his clothes perfectly fit him. Maybe a bit too well. Just like for Chan, if Felix raised his arms, his waist would be exposed to the air.

"Do you need to brush your teeth or anything?" Chan asked.

"No. When I sleep, it automatically cleans since robots and most liquid things don't mix," Felix said sheepishly.

"Should I put on the sleep mode?"

Felix shook his head. "There's a system that regulates the temperature so the gear won't overheat. Jisung is quite smart if he tries. That Woojin robot he made was trash."

"I see, you're quite evolved," Chan chuckled. "Anyway, I'm going to wash up real quick. Feel free to explore."

"Mkay."

'Heck, don't make any "mm" sounds with that voice,' Chan thought giddily, staring at himself blankly in the mirror. 'Damn, I really look like a mess.'

He began brushing his teeth, once again making weird faces at himself in the mirror.

Felix didn't know what to do, so he decided to clean up the game of Uno he had undoubtedly lost even without the game ending, stacking the cards neatly and slipping them in the box.

He stretched, pulling his arm behind his head and stretching and doing the same to the other side before letting out a breath. He then took in the size of Chan's room, his eyes fixating on certain things in a camera-like fashion.

The door opened and Chan came in, a towel in his hand. He gave it to Felix who looked at him, confused.

"It's not wet, but it's slightly damp," he explained. "I thought you'd like to get your face clean at least."

The robot smiled. "Thank you."

Tenderly, he put the towel to his forehead. Like Chan said, it was damp but not wet, so he proceeded to get the oil and possible dirt from his face before handing it back to Chan. The latter briefly left and came back inside, locking the door behind him.

"You lock the door?" Felix asked.

He nodded. "Makes me feel a bit more secure. Is that alright with you?"

"Mhm."

Felix sensed a spike in Chan's emotions, but it quickly went back to how it usually was, calm and steady. He checked his internal clock, seeing that it was 9:52 pm.

"It's almost 10," Felix noted. "So how does the sleeping thing work?"

"I guess we take either side of the bed," Chan said. "Which side do you want?"

When Felix shrugged, Chan proceeded to launch himself on the side that was further away from the door, so Felix clambered next to him.

"Are you sure you won't overheat?"

"I'm sure," the robot clarified.

"Alright then."

Chan stuffed his body under the comforters, feeling Felix do the same.

"Should I turn off the lights?"

"If you'd like."

Chan called out to Alexa. "Alexa, dim the lights."

The lights almost fully turned off, leaving a comforting glow.

"'Night Channie," Felix spoke softly.

"Good night."
