Chapter 1

Jules Pov

"Your never good enough, you know that!"my dad tells me slapping me across the face. My siblings watching from the staircase with tears knowing they can't help.

"I told you to wash the dishes when you get home but you come home late!" "I had tutoring!" I sob. "I don't care, you come home and do the dishes, no more tutoring!" He yells pushing me to the ground. "Now go to bed, I don't want to see you." I run up to my room. I wish I perfect like my siblings, their the favorites. I hear the door knob jiggle a little and I go under the covers, scared that my dad is coming to hurt me again. "Jules, it's Caleb and Hayley." I get up from the bed and run to them. I love my siblings, I really do but i'm jealous that they don't get hurt.

"Hey, your gonna be ok, I promise, I turn 18 in 3 months and then we can move out." I cry into his chest. My brother was always there for me and always said the right things. "Why can't we move out now?" "Jules I'm not legal yet, but I promise we'll leave this household but let's go to sleep ok?" "ok." Caleb sleeps with me because I get nightmares. Some are worse than others.

Thursday March 3
7:30 am

My alarm went off, it's too early to be awake. But I get to pick out a really cute outfit.

I have to wear my little sweater because my cuts are little visible but their healing. I walk to Calebs room to check if he's in there but he's not. Weird. Then I check Hayleys but she's still sleeping. 15 year olds these days. I go and wake her up "Hayley wake up!" "Julesss!" "Get up we have school" "fine, omg! love the outfit" "Thank you Hayley!" "Your welcome and I think Caleb is downstairs making your lunch" "Yay! Lunch!, omg it's hot dog Thursday!" "Yes Jules, Hotdog Thursday now get out I have to get dressed" "Ok see ya!"

Caleb just parked outside the school. "Bubba I have tutoring today, can you wait for me please." "I was gonna wait for you either way, I don't want you getting in trouble" "Yay, thanks you Caleb, love you!" I said kissing his cheek. "Let's go guys, I don't wanna be late" Hayley said while opening the door. "Ha! When do you care?" "Hey! I care about my education unlike you, asshole." "Language Hayley" I said while pouting. "Sorry, come on let's go."

"Pumpkin!" I yelled while running to Kenzie. Kenzie. My bestfriend. My only friend actually, she's always been there for me since this boy in kindergarten spilled apple juice on me. Although though I don't like her using bad words. "Bubbles" She yelled opening her arms. I jumped in her arms while everyone was looking at us weirdly. "Fuck off" she yelled since people were yelling.

"Kenzie no more bad words!" I yelled pouting. "Awww bubbles, everyone was staring so I told them to fuck off" she said pinching my cheeks. I push her hands away. "Stop doing that I'm not a baby" "Your my little pumpkin" she smiled. I smiled back saying, " No your my little pumpkin, you call me bubbles" "Same thing Jules."

"No, we have different nicknames." "Let's go to class bubbles." "Ok! I also have tutoring today, and we have the test today in science, I hope I pass." "Jules, you always pass. Every. Class." Pumpkin exclaims. "Except calculas, it's really hard." I said. "Jules?" she said turning her head to me. "Yes?" "Let's go to class yea?" "ok!"

6th period

It's lunch time now, and I get to enjoy my hotdog now. Me and pumpkin sitting at our regular table. My siblings coming in a little later then these boys come up to us. "Hey Jules." one of them says, they have black hair, kinda cute. "Hi! Are you gonna eat with us!" I said smiling at them. "No, I was wondering if you could go tutor me?" "Sure! What do you need help with!" I said smiling "Get away assholes, I know what your doing, now leave!" she exclaims shooing them.

"Kenzie! He needed help with his work" I scolded at her. "No he was just trying to get into your pants!" she shouts. "What does that mean?" "Nothing bubbles, eat your food." She pointing at my hot dog. "Ok, oh! i forgot a fork for my fruit, i'll be back" I said while getting up. "Ok and be careful." she said squinting her eyes at me.

"Ow!" While walking back I bumped into something very hard. "Watch where your going idiot." The person said. He had curly brown hair, I wanted to touch it.
