1. A Love Story Untold

He didn’t fall in love with me for my looks. Believe me, I was the ugliest duck anyone had ever seen and I am not exaggerating. And I wasn’t the person who looks utterly beautiful to everyone around her and the girl herself has very low self-esteem about her looks; that really wasn’t or isn’t the case with me.

I have dull brown eyes which are neither soulful or have ‘specks’ in them. They are a dark brown framed with thin, short eyelashes. I wear big geeky glasses over them because I needed them (still do); I wasn’t wearing them for style. My eyebrows need serious plucking and styling –immediately.

My lips are wobbly and pale pink, not even the least bit attractive. Rough and frizzy brown hair covers my head –they have no highlights and they don’t turn a different color in the sun. I have a crooked nose which resembles to that of a witch in fairytale books. My teeth are also crooked so I do not have the perfect smile –might be a reason why my lips are always pursed or in a scowl. But thank goodness that they do not make me resemble to a mouse or a rabbit!

My cheeks are full and chubby and they do not look cute. Cute is when there is a dimple on those full cheeks and they look rosy and vibrant. Mine looks the same a squirrel whose mouth is full of nuts.

My body is not curvy, I have an average chest and I have big thighs leading to big hips. I have a bit of a fat on my stomach and I have fat legs. I am 5’5, which just adds to my fattiness. No wonder a guy can’t pick me up (they have never even tried).

So you see he really didn’t fall in love with me for my looks. In fact, he doesn’t even know himself why he fell in love with me!
