'She's so immature' The twins thought, looking at the girl who was sulking in the corner, hugging her knees as mushrooms grew on her head. "A-Ah! Sorry, Hanako-kun! I panicked." Amane apologized, waving his arms around. "It's fine..." Hanako answered dejectedly. "Just buy me another one..." Hanako said, rocking herself back and forth. "E-EH?!" Amane yelled, confused.

"I'll buy one for you Hana-chan!" Tsukasa yelled, trying to hug the ghost, but went through. Hanako immediately snapped out from her dejected state, brightening up as she heard Tsukasa say he was going to buy another magazine for her. "ARIGATO TSU-KUN!" Hanako exclaimed, jumping up and down. 

"Okay!" Hanako said, pumping her fist into the air. "I already know what the two of you should do!" The ghost said excitedly. "Wait..." She started rummaging through her pocket. Amane sweatdropped. 'How much space is in her pocket?-' He thought.  Hanako took a romance manga out of her pocket and started aggressively flipping through the pages.

"Eh...Hanako-kun? What are you doing-" Amane got cut off by Hanako shoving the manga in his and Tsukasa's face, pointing to a specific panel. "You two should fight for her love!" Hanako exclaimed and started fangirling.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Amane exclaimed, annoyed and irritated. "THIS ISN'T ONE OF YOUR SHITTY LOVE TRIANGLE MANGAS, HANAKO-KUN!" Amane screamed. Tsukasa and Hanako both looked at him with surprised and shocked expressions. Amane never had an outburst like this. So when Tsukasa experienced it, he was shocked. 

"Look, I'm sorry for shouting like that" Amane sighed, obviously irritated at the fact Hanako wasn't taking this seriously and the fact she ignored the negative effect of the both of them finding out they the feelings for the same girl. "I-... It's fine..." Hanako stated. "I-I'll leave the two of you alone for a while, okay?" Hanako said in a regretful tone.

"Wait-" Amane said as he reached out his arm to grab Hanako but his hand went through her wrist. Amane looked at the floor, regretting the outburst he had earlier. 

Tsukasa's head perked up at the sound of something falling behind Hanako. Tsukasa scanned the room, looking for the item Hanako dropped. His eyes landed on a small white and red pouch that seemed to be filled with something. He heard the sound of something clinking. He looked down to see a ghostly purple orb go under a red and white pouch that had a label on it.

Tsukasa grabbed Amane's shoulder. "Amane, It's fine. You can apologize to Hana-chan later." Amane immediately snapped out of his daze when Tsukasa told him to apologize later. Tsukasa took the bag from the orb and read the label.

"Matchmaking charms?..." Tsukasa mumbled, catching the attention of Amane. Tsukasa immediately got irritated. "What the fuck...Hana-chan said there weren't any other ways..." Tsukasa whispered to himself. "HANAKO-KUN!!" Amane yelled.

"Yes?-" "YOU SAID THERE WASN'T ANY OTHER WAY!" Tsukasa yelled, cutting off Hanako and showing her the pouch. Hanako's eyes widened as she put both of her hands in her pockets.
"H-Hey, Tsukasa...Give it back- NO DON'T DO THAT!" Hanako yelled as she watched Amane and Tsukasa take a charm and place each half in their mouths. "If you don't tell us what this does, we'll swallow them!" Tsukasa threatened the ghost. "OKAY, OKAY!" Hanako sighed defeatedly as she put her arms behind her head.

"Those are mermaid scales," Hanako stated, gulping before continuing. "Whoever swallows a scale will be cursed and become one of the Mermaid's servants. They're called matchmaking charms because if a person they care deeply about swallows it, they'll share the curse and that would resemble a true bond." Hanako finished and sighed in relief...until she heard the twins swallow something.

"I-I'm gonna share the curse with Nanamine-senpai!" Tsukasa shouted as he snatched the pouch from Amane and ran out of the bathroom. "TSUKASA!" Hanako cried out. "TSUKASA, NO!" Amane yelled as he ran after Tsukasa.

Amane caught up to Tsukasa frozen in place as if he was watching something. "TSU-" Amane was quickly caught off by an unknown voice shouting.

"N-Nanamine-senpai...I-I...I-I've l-liked you e-ever since I-I saw y-you," Amane's heart immediately dropped as he walked beside Tsukasa to watch. A boy with blue hair stammered,
"P-Please go out with m-me!" He yelled as he outstretched his arm.

Amane and Tsukasa watched the scene as their hearts ached with jealousy and heartbreak. "I'm sorry, Iruma-kun," Nanamine said as she gently put his outstretched arm down. "I currently have feelings for someone else." She stated calmly.

The twins' hearts shattered as they started tearing up. Tsukasa wiped his tears when he noticed something that caused him to panic...Why were there fish scales on his skin?...

Tsukasa and Amane looked at each other as they noticed the scales growing on them.

They heard a sadistic giggle as they started to blackout.
