( y / n's ) eyes struggled to keep open ,, their eyelids feeling heavier and heavier by the second ,, they only prayed they would at least make it to ( b / f / n's ) house in one piece. ( y / n ) hummed softly as they took a turn ,, the sun was almost completly set ,, thankfully they arrived to their best friends house ... or ,, well ,, apartment with  their car in perfect condition. ( b / f / n ) was standing outside ,, waiting for them patiently. that's when ( b / f / n's ) ( eye / color ) brightened at the sight of their besties car showing up and parking ,, they instantly ran over to the car as ( y / n ) stepped outside and stretched.

" thank god ! i was starting to think you got into a crash ! " they said as they hugged ( y / n ). they chuckled and hugged back tightly ,, as they replied with " well almost ,, i'm so tired dude ,, i almost fell asleep behind the wheel. ". the driver for the van stepped outside and walked over to the two ,, ( b / f / n ) chuckles and stepped back ,, saying " thank god it didn't happen. ". ( y / n ) turned to the driver and instantly pulled out their wallet ,, the driver then started to speak. " alright ,, you have the van until next week ,, if it's not returned by then ,, you will get a fine. " he said ,, they simply nodded and payed the man for helping with loading their stuff and driving them.

" yes sir ,, thank you so much " ( y / n ) said as they smiled and tiredly rubbed their eyes from driving ,, wind started to pick up and it started to get chilly. the cold brushing off their skin ,, they shivered at that as the driver smiled. " no problem ,, happy moving " he said before he walked off and got on his phone ,, it looked like he was calling a buddy to pick him up. " well let's start that tomorrow ,, its getting dark and it's fucking cold. " ( b / f / n ) said as they grabbed ( y / n's ) wrist and ran inside ,, to which they laughed and ran after. " alright ! alright ! slow down !! " ( y / n ) said.

the two best friends had to climb some stairs but they made it to the top floor ,, and ( b / f / n ) opened the door to their apartment and walked inside ,, ( y / n ) walked inside and looked around. " welcome home ,, roomie ! make yourself comfortable !" ( b / f / n ) said as they walked to the main room ,, the main room was connected with the kitchen ,, and the walls were painted maroon red ,, the floor was carpet. comfortable furniture was placed around and it seemed really chill ,, ( y / n ) smiled and sat down on one of the couches ,, to which ( b / f / n ) joined on the couch and turned down the tv volume.

" this seems very comfortable ,, this living room screams your style " ( y / n ) said as they looked at their best friend ,, since kinder garden. ( b / f / n ) smiled and leaned back ,, messing with the strings of their hoodie as they spoke. " yeah ,, it's not really much but i like it here. rent isn't overly expensive ,, it's close to my job and the people that live here seem nice. they are OBSESSED for the holidays though ,, it's fuckin nuts " they said as they laughed ,, ( y / n ) laughed at that and smiled big.

" are people ,, like ,, singing christmas carols at your door and shit ?? " ( y / n ) asked ,, ( b / f / n ) instantly nodded really quickly and snickered ,, " that and they give SO much goodies and stuff ,, i almost don't wanna talk shit with all the free food they're giving me " ( b / f / n ) joked ,, the two laughed and caught up like the old buddies they were.

( y / n ) was glad to know that ( b / f / n ) hasn't changed a bit. sure they looked different ,, now they had ( hair / length ) ( hair / color ) hair ,, they've gotten taller and they choose ( clothing / style ) now ,, they looked great ! " by the way ,, how have you been ... lately ? " ( b / f / n ) asked ,, but in a worried tone. ( y / n's ) eyes sparked with curiosity as they tilted their head in confusion. " what do you mean ... ? " they asked.
