-Florence's pov--
Things had been going well, boring as usual.
Irina kept bringing up how xo loved me and whenever I asked who xo was, she said I would figure out soon enough.
I honestly didn't know what she was talking about but Irina told me I would feel stupid once I found out because it's so obvious.
I was on my way to my shift and then off shopping with Shemar. he wanted to take me to his friends clothing store in down town on dundas I think.
I got my black combat boots on and I put on my black thigh highs with my big yeezus tour tshirt.
I went out on my subway trip down to young street.
After a long sweaty trip, I finally made it into work and checked in, making my way around the store, to 'cater to the customers needs' as my manager always put it.
"Yooo Flor, you are going to love the store I'm bringing you too" Shem came up behind me and wrapped his massive arms around me.
I couldn't help but giggle at his affection.
"What store is it, just tell me" I whined as I pulled his arms off me.
"You will see, and your outfit it dope today." he winked and walked off.
That was shemar for you.
I quickly finished my shift, and me and lamar left and went on our way to Dundas street.
We finally made our way there after a long walk and he pointed to the simple storefront on the corner that we were about to walk Into.
"Oh my god" I couldn't help but grin, once I saw the owl elblem.
The ovo store.
"You can chose 2 things, free of charge from the store, as half your early birthday present" Shem let out a short laugh and I continue smiling and grabbed him into a hug.
"That you Shem, you are the best" I couldn't help but run to the door and make my way inside.
The storefront was simple, clean and prestine, with a few ovo merchandise hanging around.
I was immediately drawn to the sweaters and caps, I had the attractive worker get me a few sizes and in the end, I ended up getting a long sleeve shirt that said 'topszn' and a baseball cap that said ovo.
Shem swiped his card and smiled at the worker.
"Damn, good boyfriend" the tall lightskin cash attendee smiled.
I coughed awkwardly while taking the bag.
"Nah it's her birthday soon, she's my homie" Shem laughed it off and took his receipt.
"Awh my bad, have a nice day" the cashier waved at us as we left.
"And happy birthday cutie" he winked at me while I have him a small smirk, feeling the redness crawl onto my cheeks.
"This is a hint to your present, aight?" Shem reached into his pocket and pulled out a Marlboro and Lit it up.
"I thought you quit, and where the fuck do you get this money?" I was honestly cofused.
"Born into wealth" he chuckled while taking another long drag from his cigarette.
"Then why do you have a job" I let out a snort of laughter as I lit up one of my belmonts.
"Because my parents want me to work since I still live with them" he looked at me kind of embarassed.
"Alright shem" I laughed as I took a puff.
"I can't wait to see your reaction to the gift me and Irina got you" I could see him smiling happily to himself and I could only feel pure anticipation.
"Tell me" I whined as we made our way to the subway station.
"You will find out tomorrow on your birthday" he winked as he hugged me goodbye.
"Fine" I huffed as I let out a little laugh, getting on the subway.
"Later" he smiled, passing me the bag from the ovo shop.

I made my way home and went straight to bed, feeling exhausted from my shift and all the walking around.

Crew love blasted on my alarm and I slowly fluttered my eyes open to see Irina standing by my bed with none other than Shemar standing beside her.
"Guys" I spoke in my groggy voice.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" They screamed, throwing a box at me.
"Oh dear" I whined, ripping it open.
The card was sweet, full of a bunch of cheesy shit from Irina.
I slowly opened the box and my heart skipped a beat.
One glance and I already knew this was going to be the best birthday ever.
"Oh my god" I picked up the single piece of paper in the box and tears started flowing from my eyes.
"We thought we would go all out for your 22nd birthday" Irina squealed as she smiled at me.
"Jesus quit crying you pussy" Shem laughed as he pulled out his iphone and took a picture, I didn't even care though, because I was going to see drake live in concert this Friday.
