THE clock , everyone surrounded it as they waited patiently for it to strike it's final time ,patiently standing some hugging their beloved ones as it would be the last time they remembered each other , she looked around as her eyes scanned everywhere , she watched how couples hugged each other tight knowing they'll be forgotten.

she frowned as she saw little girls knowing she won't remember seeing them ever again , she wasn't so worried about not remembering her parents as for you can't forget them , you can't forget the people who gave birth to you , some kids wished they could forget their parents,frowning as she saw her friend running towards her as the clock was about to strike.

'y/n!' dylan says as she rushed towards her pulling her into a tight hug,afraid

'dylan' she mutters as she hugged her tight as well knowing she'll forget the only person who had understood her very well

'okay' she chuckles as she pulled away,wiping her watery eyes her stomach feeling sick,y/n smiled slightly trying not know any sort of emotion

'alright,this is it' she says threw a smile,tears slowly begin filling up her eyes

'I don't wanna forget you' she says as her voice cracking was visibly enough to hear

'Thank you so much y/n!you had shown me what having a friend by your side felt like" she says as a tear rolled down,y/n smiled as she carefully wiped her tear away

'don't cry,we'll be fine just smile because of the memories we've made okay' she says as she saw Dylan nodding her head

y/n turned her head as she watched the clock almost striking 12,she watched as everyone began to hug each other tightly,she looked back at Dylan as she smiled

'goodbye'

y/n pulled her into a hug as both of them wish what would happen next,was or were never a thing.

y/n looked up at the clock as it was only a minute left,she closed her eyes as her emotions began to hit her,she began to breath in and out to help her steady herself her arms still around her best friend,she breathed in slowly as she opened her eyes her eyes diverted to the clock as it was time.

'bye'

her eyes closed as she began to see nothing but a bright light,hitting her face her memories being erased and taken within the bright light her head began to feel nauseous as everything she had thought about a couple minutes ago were now vanished as for the new year has begun

her head began to stop hurting as she slowly opened her eyes hurting a bit from what had just happened,something she couldn't remember

she looked around as she saw un-familiar faces,every one looked around as confusion was written all over there facial expressions not being able to remember any person,except their parents and family members

she looked in front of her as she saw a girl confused as well , the girl slowly turned to look at her as she looked thrilled

'Hello' she says awkwardly as y/n smiled slightly,confused to say the least

'hey'

'sorry,I should get going' she awkwardly says as for y/n she giggled it off as she nodded,y/n turned around as she saw confused people wondering who's who.

she slowly walked away from the place as people began to head home,she walked along the sidewalk as she looked around and saw it was dark,she began to rush home as quickly cause she needed to sleep
