Weeks were passing and I yearned to see Trenay more and more. His communication was unexpectedly great. He did not go a day without speaking to me and I was not complaining about that fact at all.

His music life was quite chaotic from what I picked up, but he still made time to see me smiling on FaceTime every time he called. My familiarity with toxicity made me feel like something was bound to go wrong sooner than later.

Speaking of my often run in with toxic behavior, I hadn't seen my own pathetic excuse of a boyfriend since dinner with his family. Naomi was right in saying that I should be grateful that his mother was there to distract me from his unbearableness. He'd managed to call me ghetto, insinuate I was gaining a bit too much weight in my backside, and dismiss my business all in one night. I couldn't say that was a record breaker for him, but it did it's job in breaking my spirits enough. It was crazy how love could so easily turn to hate.

I'd restocked my entire inventory and business was truly booming for me lately. All together I'd been having really good days. As I looked through the options a possible vendor had sent me, my phone began to buzz, signaling Trenay was ringing my line.

"Hey honey what's up?" I answered coolly.

"Aye bae I need you to do something for me if you not too busy right now."

"And what's that ?" I closed out of my computer because I already knew I was going to accept the task.

"I need you to pull up to this lil studio to pick up some paperwork for me. I really just need somebody to go get that before the nigga leave the H and I'll get it from you whenever," I could hear people in the background so I assumed he was pretty busy.

"Yeah I got you. I can go now, just text me the location."

The smile was evident in his voice, "Thank you baby. I'm sending it now."

Maps told me the drive was about forty five minutes from where I was so of course I rolled up for my ride. It was going to get dark by the time I got over there and I was hoping he didn't have me in the hood because my taser wasn't charged, but I'm sure nobody would play with me. That gun was right under my seat nonetheless.

I knew the inside of the building could hear my City Girls playing loud and clear when I pulled up, but I was high and had no shame in my game. I texted Trenay to let him know I had made it so that his guy could bring me what he needed. Sleepiness was washing over me heavily which was a common thing for me lately. I needed to incorporate some vitamin supplements into my daily regimen because this was getting out of hand. As I let out a long yawn, someone tapped on my window scaring the shit out of me. When I was able to register the face I hopped out and into his arms quickly.

"What are you doing here?!" I squealed as Trenay kissed around my face lightly.

He pulled back to set me onto my feet, "Bae I was missing you too bad. I needed to feel my girl again." This boy was going to make me fall head over heels for him if he kept up this energy.

I didn't even respond with words, I just met his lips with mine. He tasted so good! My body was getting ahead of itself and wanted him in a bed immediately. His hands rubbed along my sides and down to my butt before he squeezed it gently. His gestures earned a moan out of me before he broke the kiss. "I'm guessing you missed me too?" he joked making me burst out laughing.

"Yes Trenay I've been missing you just as bad."

We moved into his studio session and he introduced me to the men that were in there. Everything seemed so professional. I was really fucking with a known and established rapper. I loved it. Trenay, or as I should say, Bang got into the booth and music started to be made. The vibe was amazing and I was sitting on the couch in full fan girl mode. I was really witnessing my favorite rapper make my favorite music and I felt like I was dreaming. I snapped back into reality when I realized everyone was looking at me and the music had stopped.
