We got to the wall as night started to set in which was a great thing for us, since that meant if there was any soldiers here they would most likely be asleep and not prepared for a battle. I woke Rorke and grabbed my bags (one for guns the other for random equipment) and we got to work. We set down 3 claymores in random spots and added c4 to some building. I saw a soldier so I silently walked up behind him, dragged him to a dark building and broke his neck. When I went to leave I saw a couple more sleeping soldiers in the building and took them out as well. When I was done I regrouped with Rorke so we could continue to venture further in to the small town. Some bystanders passed by us without even knowing.
When he felt like we were a safe distance from the explosives Rorke gave the signal to blow the charges we set. I did but not without my mind getting a little clouded by his close proximity to me since we had a lot of space for us to spread out. Once my hand pressed the button that town went from buildings to rubble real quick. As for the people some soldiers and bystanders made it out but we could tell most died with the buildings. So we got to work on killing the remaining soldiers but they managed to contact another base before we got them all. Now the real fun would begin. We silently moved on foot through the town to ensure no one lived then we headed away so we weren't here when more showed up. Soon we were to tired to continue and it was day light so we found an abandoned shack to sleep in for the awhile. It was odd when Rorke pulled me close to him I mean it was about 60 degrees right now.
I tried to move but he tightened his grip so I gave up and snuggled up to him. When I woke Rorke was laying there watching me which freaked me out just a little. I didn't know why he was but he was smiling. I hastily sat up and grabbed my gear so we could head out to the next town. Well on the walk my mind got the better of me and so I asked Gabriel what all that was before we started this walk. His reply was " when danger comes in full force I want to know that you will be beside me for the entire battle, and feel comfortable. I didn't really believe that since he never showed emotion and never cared about people being there for him before.
Shortly after that we reached the next town. This one bas bigger and had a lot of ammunition for us to take. So we took out the alarm they had rigged for the town, slowly we took the soldiers out when we were done with the alarm. Next thing I knew I heard a click and before I knew I was doing it I screamed at Rorke to stay still. He stepped on a mine which means they were expecting us to hit one of the bigger towns next. Luckily I was able to disarm it with no injuries to me or Gabriel. So now we realized we gotta be extra carful from here on out. We called to our base back in Mexico and told them what we have gotten done so far but for some reason my brother didn't think it was enough. Rorke told him we would get more done by the time he was ready to send soldiers but also informed my brother that he was gonna beat his ass if he kept the attitude. We decided on staying here for a few nights since we knew it was cleared and no one would be here for at least two day with the next supply drop. In those few days me and Rorke got to know each other better than we ever did. Now I feel like me and him were truly becoming best friends.
