Blair's POV:
I walked up the hallway Ben smiling ear to ear. He stopped at a door and looked at me then the door. "You go in first" he said smiling. I nodded my head and opened the door. I walked into this huge room. It was literally my dream room. I loved every inch of it. I turned to Ben and hugged him so tight. "How did you know?" I smiled pulling away from the hug. He smiled "well before we took the bug off your phone I looked through all your saved pins printed them made some phone calls and poof here we are" he said smiling and obviously proud of himself. "Well thank you. Your an absolute genius" he smiled. My eye got caught by this huge red button by my bed. I looked at it and Ben must have noticed. "Oh that! That's a button that when pressed send an alarm to Bics room next door" he said. Wow. Just then Asher walked in and I turned to him and jumped in his arms. "Ben did an amazing job" I said kissing Asher on the cheek as a thank you. "I know right" Asher said looking around amazed. I squealed and jump on my new bed! I have to admit I'm kinda sad I won't be sleeping with Asher but it's nice to have a room of my own. "I can't believe you would do all of this for me" I said in disbelief. Asher smiled. "Blair your family" Asher said smiling. I couldn't help but smile back. "Well I've got to shut down the tech room before it runs hot and shuts its self down" Ben said walking out. "Blair. You know I would do anything to keep you safe right?" Asher said. I smiled and nodded "of course. I just want to say thank you for everything you've done for me. It means the world. I also want to say thank you for being there for me. It means the world Asher". He smiled a dorky smiled and hugged me. "You know I thought Cameron would be better looking" Asher said laughing and laying on the bed next to me. I laughed so hard I couldn't contain it. "I'm just saying seemed like the boy had a real hold on you. I thought he would be bigger and put up more of a fight too" he said just talking to talk. I smiled "well my mom always loved him and knew him for most of my life. He was a safe choice. Know what I mean?" I said just kinda talking too. He chuckled "I have no idea what you mean by safe choice. I've never chose the safe choice ever in my life Blair" he said in a smart ass tone. I rolled my eyes. "Well that was like my whole life before I met you" I said looking at my feet. There was a moment of silence. "Your mom really was all you described her to be. Seems like she wears the pants in the house too" he said jokingly. I smiled "yeah it's always been that way. She just doesn't want me to be like her. She wants better" I said. He looked at me with interest. "What do you mean?" He said. I kinda smiled "well my mom was the valedictorian like me in high school she had a full ride scholarships to Yale. But right before graduation she learned she was pregnant with me. Luckily my dad buckled down got a job and they were fine. But my mom had to give up her education to take care of me. She just wanted me to have options I guess" I said trying to sympathize with her and see her side. "Yeah I get that but she still should support you even if you don't see eye to eye. Like my dad. He doesn't agree that I don't want the future of the gang to be drugs but he still supports me and helps me reach the goal" he said plainly. "Yeah I wish it could be that way. But sadly it's not. I'm just glad I met you guys or I would be back home living the life of my mom not what I wanted" I said trying to be sentimental. But Asher started laughing "yeah and probably would have married that pussy Cameron". I shoved him playfully. But I mean he's not wrong. "Well we've got business to get too Blair. So shower up get dressed and meet me downstairs" he said
smiling and before I could answer he was out of my room. Ugh business business business. That's all this guy talks about these days.Ashers POV:
I walked down stairs. There was no business I just wanted Blair to meet my dad. He is on his way here. I'm kinda nervous but I just hope he understands why she is being brought in. Just as I got to the kitchen there was dad, Carson, and Ben. "Hey dad!" I said smiling. He was not. "Asher Bics why are you bringing a girl into my gang. You know we have a strict no girl policy for a reason. It never ends good. You know that better than anyone" I felt immediately anger. I took a deep breath. "She's not in the gang dad. Some of our enemy gangs have found out about her connection to me and have threatened her. And we have decided it would be in her best interest to train her" I said in my professional hard ass voice. "What exactly is your connection with her Bics?" He asked. Damn I don't know. "I don't know dad. I just care a lot about her and the thought of one of those bastards hurting her drives me crazy". He nodded his head. "Okay then son. If you care for her than you better be ready for your business to hurt her. But I support" dad said. I frowned but decided to be civil and just calm down. We talked about the trade tomorrow some and then Blair and Conner walked in together. Blair's face looked so smiley. Why are they walking in together. And why is she that happy. I tended up and clinched my fist together. "Bics who is this?" She said signaling to my dad. Why in the hell did she call me Bics. "This is my dad. Dad this is Blair" I said flatly. She smiled uncomfortably and shook his hand. "You definitely are beautiful" my dad said to Blair. He's right she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. "Thank you Mr.?" She said as if asking for his name. "I'm Mr.Bics " she smiled. "Oh well it's lovely to meet you Mr.Bics" she said smiling at him. They continued to talk but I was too zoned out. What's been up with Conner and Blair. He's been so stand offish and quick to aid Blair and now there walking in together. I need to know what the fuck is going on. "Well I have to go son. It was nice meeting you Blair! I hope to see you soon" he said before hugging me and walking off. After he walked off Blair walked upstairs to her room and didn't even say much more to me. I glared down Conner but he said nothing too. I'm pissed. I went to the firing range to let off some steam.
