Bird?

After you're a good distance from the park you pull your phone out. You call Dom:
He picks up on the second ring.

You: Hey-

You were cut off by Doms rushed words

Dom: Y/N listen to me. I saw a blue bird in the window. It was singing a sweet tune.

You: So I tried to sing with it. But I was off pitch. The bird was gone at noon. I asked the bird where it had gone and it's reply

Dom: Was that it  couldn't sing at noon.

You had stopped walking and grabbed the gun you ha Dali's in your jeans behind your back. Feeling the cool metal against your skin gave you chills. You looked around casually trying not to draw attention to yourself.

I guess training to be an assassin pays off.

You: So do you know why the burg carries a tune? Or what the birds best features are?

Dom: The bird never says why it carries a tune. But I've heard his best feature is his Japanese approved smile.

The subtle hints Dom dropped were all you needed to know who was watching you.

You: What should I do about the bird Dom?

Dom: Run from the bird. Ignore it.

Dom sighs heavily on the other end of the phone. You giggle trying to lighten the mood. You release your grip on the gun and grab the hem of your hoodie sleeve and slide a knife loose.

You: Hey Dom. You know if that is the bird I probably won't be able to see you for a while right? The bird can fly faster than I can walk I'm sure and assuming it still has a flock. I'm fucked.

You release a sad laugh into the air as your situation becomes more apparent.
'So All Might huh? Doesn't he have bigger fish to fry?' You think

Dom: Hey cupcake, don't worry. If the bird catches you I'll be with you every step of the way.

You: No Dom, if I'm caught you are to secure yourself. We'll find each other after a while I'm sure. Remember the Manor?

You hear silence on the other end indicating he's listening. So you continue.

Good, go there. Let the Head of the Manor know that I'm well alive and that Ms.Guileful sent you.

Dom: But you're just a kid-

You: A kid who has been raised for this work nonetheless. How many times have I failed to come out alive yet?

Dom: Well counting that one time when you set the kitchen on fire. None.
He sighs heavily and grunts.
Ok fine I'll go to the manor.

You smile contently knowing he'll be safe.

You: Good now pack your bags and go. I'll receive a call from the manor so you'd better get there as soon as possible or I'll send them for you. I love you Dom stay safe for me.

Dom:Fine. Stay safe Princess. Come back to me in one piece preferably.

You: Yeah, yeah. Over and out big guy.
