Chapter 2: A few years later

It was a Thursday morning on Franklin Avenue.

In one of the houses, we can see an elephant of about 16 years, sitting on the sofa watching television while finishing a bowl of cereal.

After a while, a pink-haired girl came down the stairs.

Susie: Good morning.

Oscar: Good morning Susie.

The elephant, without looking at the cat, continued with his own

Susie: Hey, what did I tell you to leave the empty cereal box in the drawer!?

Oscar just ignored her and went about his business.

Susie got annoyed at this, and quickly walked over to the socket.

Oscar: you wouldn't dare ...

Susie: Are you sure?

The cat, disconnected the television, which made Oscar react, who threw himself on the girl, starting a fight, which released a cloud of dust from the ground.

Susie: Hey!

Oscar: Stop!

The screams of both teenagers had awakened Andy and Leia, who were already used to morning fights.

Andy: Hey, again?!

Both young men stopped upon hearing someone screaming.

Oscar/Susie: He/She started!

Leia, came down the stairs, and looked at them both with a face of total anger.

Leia: It doesn't matter who it was! Both of you go up to your room, tidy up your backpacks, put on your uniforms and wait until we get out! You understand!?

Susie and Oscar, upon hearing the woman's scolding, only gulped in fear.

Leia: I said, you understand!?

The cat and the elephant ran to their shared room and locked themselves there.

Andy looked at his wife surprised, because even he had been scared at the great scolding of the cat.

Leia: Is something wrong honey?

Andy: N-no, nothing.

Leia went to the kitchen with a smile, while Andy was still terrified.

Meanwhile, in Susie and Oscar's room, they were both sitting on their respective beds, glaring at each other.

Oscar: What is your problem with me?

Susie: And what's your problem with being a little neat!?

Oscar and Susie were looking at each other, their eyes were full of fury, they were going to attack each other, but they held back, knowing that there would be problems if they started fighting again.

Oscar: Agh, whatever, just get dressed.

The elephant got out of bed, and began to dress.

Oscar: Please turn around ...

Susie, blushing, turned and looked away.

Oscar finished dressing quickly, and without telling Susie, he left the room directly to the dining room.

Susie: Eh ? YOU ARE A...!

Susie's scream was only heard as a murmur from the dining room.

The cat put on her uniform and went to the dining room.

And when he arrived, she struck the back of Oscar's neck with his open hand.

Oscar: Hey, what's the matter with you!?
