Tronnor: Wanderlust

Chapter 4

My heart was beating really fast.
Did I just say that?
I wasn't focused on anything. I didn't even know what I felt at the moment. I didn't know if I was scared, relief, nervous, happy.
Holy shit.
Everything was just a background noise. I could hear Tyler asking me questions but I couldn't really listen to him. It was great that I got that out my system but what happens next? I'm going to have to come out to everyone. My parents. My friends. My family. My audience.

I finally snapped out of it.

"Connor?" said Tyler with a worried tone.

"What did you just say?"

"I'm", I took a deep breath ,"gay."

"Woah" he answered. His jaw dropped.

"Um okay. Why don't I go make some coffee and we can talk about this."

And he did. I went and sat on The Couch and just kept thinking about what I just said.

Tyler came back with the two cups of coffee. It was 3:15 a.m. at this point. He talked to me about everything. He told me not to worry because it was going to be okay. And we kept talking.

5:14 a.m.

Our coffee's were on Tyler's table. His cup empty and mine half-full with cold coffee.

"Okay well, I hope you're okay."

"I am. Don't worry." I looked at him and smiled.

"Goodnight", he said as he was getting up from the couch.

"Goodnight." I smiled at him. And I meant that smile.

He went back to his room and I went back to the guest room. And as soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep.

That morning I woke up at about 11 a.m. Tyler was cooking breakfast.

"You okay?"

"Yeah."

"You sure?"

"Yes". And that was it. That's how I come out to Tyler and had one of the most important conversations in my life.

Hello! And thank you for reading. Just to let you know what I have planned for the future is basically every where Tronnor has traveled to. Some are not important, some are ;). Also, I wrote "The Couch" because so many things have happened in Tyler's couch.
