guidance and support

I started working as an OJT (on the job trainee) in 2018 a couple months after I graduated university. At the time I was offered being placed as an OJT at a high school as a Teaching assistant I was also going on interviews for other jobs. Because you see as a fresh graduate I was disillusioned  but hopeful of getting  my very first job as an permanent employee but lo and behold I got through as an OJT for a two year contract and another job (more in my field tbh) for 3 months.
I did what most would have done I went with the safe option of a two year very well paid job.

But was this the best decision for me looking back? I can't say for sure because in that job I didn't grow or learn as an individual instead it let me stagnate and become a little lazy. Because I wasn't being used much as a TA but an office assistant that occasionally featured as and TA.

I lacked guidance in growing that skill I should have gained in that almost three  years I stayed there.
