Love Bug

Chapter 1

7 AM in the morning, my alarm clock went on. I was dreaming about falling hopelessly in love one day. But who am I kidding? There's no such thing as love.

I rolled out of bed, thinking in my head "It's going to be a great day, can't wait to see everyone in the table." As my train of thoughts got interrupted when I hear - "YO MOM! Do we have some left over pasta?" It's my brother. Ryan. Growing up with my mom has been bit hard ever since my dad passed away. 

I hear my mom coming up the stairs "RYAN! You ate all the pasta last night, now go on and wake your sister up!!!" that was my signal to get ready. Ryan banging on my door "Maggie!!! It's time to go, I have to drop you off today."

I opened the door with a smile on my face "Morning Ryan... Did you have an interesting dream last night?" -- "SHUT UP! Are you eavesdropping again!?" he said angrily.

*Kitchen Alarm sets off* "NOT AGAIN!!!" said my mom. Once again, another incident with mom burning the toast. On a good note, I smell the beautiful scent of bacon in the air. Ryan and I raced down the stairs like we're running a marathon.

I start to stuff my face with bacon while Ryan tries to talk to me with his mouth full.

"So Maggie, you should totally go blonde! Your nice pale skin, curly hair and hazel eyes will make you look more like a model." he said to me

"Actually... Ryan... I love my natural look. Plus you know, I'm already a model. So no thanks!"

"Whatever! This is why you don't have a boyfriend."

"You know what you piece of ----" Mom decided to interrupt my smart comeback 

"OK KIDS! Get going now!" mom said in her happy voice.

Ryan shoves me out the door and command's me to warm up his 1967 fast back Mustang, which my dad restored before he passed. Although I prefer riding my bike to school. But I feel so bad ass carpooling with my older brother, everyone digs him.

He has the most beautiful green eyes, brown hair and pearly white teeth. He's 5'11 great sense of humor and very kind. Everyone loves my brother at school.

We both finally got in the car and headed to school.

"Ryan, Can I play some alternative"

"My car my music." he said sarcastically

"I'm kidding, yes you may Maggie."

"Awesome!" I put on Crave you by Flight Facilities.

After 15 minutes of driving, we finally arrived at school. We looked for a parking lot and walked together to campus.

"Hi Ryan!!" 3 girls who has a huge crush on him said to him

"Morning'!" he said in such a calm voice

"Ugh, these girls... Can't take a hint. I better head to class" I said to myself

"I'll see you later bro" I said to Ryan

"Okay, bye Maggie! Stay out of trouble!"

"See ya after school!" we both said at the same time

We smiled at each other and headed our separate ways

"I wonder what we're doing for P.E today." I said to myself while walking to the locker room

The bell rang and all the kids in the hallways rushed to their next class including me.
