chapter 1

Makis POV
Today I was going to hang out with Kaede Akamatsu. She has been my best friend ever since 4th grade and I've had a crush on her for a very long time. Ive never had the conficence to confess to her though and I feel like someone like me doesnt deserve someone as amazing as Kaede. I choose some clothes and brushed my hair then I grabbed my phone and texted kaede.

Maki:Are we still going to hang out today

Kaede:Yes ofc! And I have some news to tell you!

Maki:About what?

Kaede:Thats a secret silly! You will know when we hang out. Come to my house around 2 :)

Maki:Okay sounds good I guess.

I wondered what it was she was going to tell me. What if she had a crush on me and was going to confess. Wait of course she dont. She would never like someone like me and it was pretty clear she only liked me as a bestfriend nothing else. Maybe it would just be best if I gave up on her. Its suprsing enough she even wants to be friends with me.

I looked at the clock and realized that it was 1:45. Maybe its time to go to Kaedes house now I thought. I started to walk to the door. I took on my black shoes and was about to leave the apartment when I heard a voice say
"Hey Maki roll where are you going?" Kaito asked me.

I live with Kaito and his family beacuse my own parents died when I was just in 6th grade and that idiot offered me to live with him. First I said no and told him I could find a place on my own but he obviously didnt accept a no and I realized that it wasn't that good to live alone around that age. So here I am living with Kaito.

"Im just going to Kaedes house. And ive told
you multiple times to not call me Maki Roll." I answered and glared a little.

Kaito was one of my first friends.Along with Kaede and Shuichi. Those 3 were the only ones I had opened up to and actually felt comfortable around.

"Are you going to confess to Kaede soon huh?" Kaito teased and giggled a little.I had told him about my crush on Kaede and he promised me not to tell anyone.
"S...Shut up" I said as my face heated up. "Anyways have fun with her!" Kaito smiled at me as he started to walk away.

That idiot...I thought and walked out of the door. I started to walk to Kaedes house

10 minutes later

After walking for around 10 minutes I finally arrived at Kaedes house. I walked to the door and knocked on it. After around 5 seconds the blonde haired girl opened the door. "

Maki finally youre here!" She gave me one of her sweet smiles and pulled me into a hug. I really liked when Kaede hugged me but I would never admit it.
"Hello to you too.." I said to Kaede and she let go of me.
"Dont just stand there you know you can walk in right" Kaede let out a sweet giggle. How can she be so perfect?I thought as I walked into Kaedes house.

"Hey Kaede..Were you going to tell me something?" I asked Kaede. She looked at me and blushed. She was really cute when she blushed I thought as I felt that my face started to heat up"Yeah lets just go to my room first!" She said and then took my hand and dragged me. My face turned completely red when she took my hand.

"Come on just hurry and tell me...." I was actually getting kind of excited since it was weird that Kaede was so mysterious about something since she was mostly open about all the new stuff that had happened in her life.

"Well...do you know who miu iruma is?" Kaede started

Miu Iruma? Of course I knew who she was. She was one of the students in our class. She was known for being really loud and make perverted jokes. But what does she have to do with anything?

"Yeah I know who she is...she's in our class dummy. What about her?"
"Well the thing is...recently me and have her started to hang out a lot..."
"and?"
"We are a bit more than friends..." Kaede blushed as she said that
"Wait are you and miu-"
"Yes we are dating..."

What-
No...
It can't be true.
Out of all people who would she date miu?,..
It suddenly became really silent and none of us said anything.

"Hey maki aren't you gonna say anything?" Kaede interrupted the awkward silence
"Oh I'm really happy for you.."I wanted to be happy for her. She had been my friend for a really long time and she deserved to be happy in a relationship with someone but I just couldn't imaging Kaede with someone else who isn't me.

"Really?... thank you maki! You're the first one I'm telling about this...so don't tell anyone else yet" I smiled a little bit at her. It was a fake smile
"You can trust me with this Kaede...I promise"
"You're a real friend maki! I'll hang out with miu soon maybe you wanna come!" To be honest I really didn't wanna come and see Kaede be in love with someone else. But I guess I was her best friend and she trusted me the most so what kind of friend would I be if I said no?

"Are you sure you don't wanna be alone with Iruma?" I asked her.
"Well I still want my girlfriend and best friend to meet each other! And I can be alone with Miu some other time!"

I was getting extremely jealous when Kaede called miu her girlfriend. Well I can't do anything other than accept it...even if it's hard I have to be supporting for kaede. But I really won't be able to get over her
"Sure I'll come..." I said. Kaede smiled and gave me a hug. "You will love her!" I probably won't. She doesn't seem like that type of person I would get along with but Kaede is just too optimistic.

"Yeah yeah,when are we going to hang out with her?" I asked.
"Well...I was thinking maybe around 4? Maybe we could eat dinner together! You and me could cook something and impress miu!"

I was getting pretty jealous and mad every time she said Mius name. And it's just pretty strange to me Kaede would date Miu. How long have they even been hanging out?

"that's fine with me"
I said and Kaede smiled.
"Yay!! I'll call miu she will love you!" Kaede sounded really happy.
"Yeah..." I mumbled

I'm gonna try to make chapter 2 as fast as possible!
