'Good morning Charlotte.' Cho chimed besides her bed, beyond excited to wake up her friend. 'I have a question for you so open those eyes of yours.' Charlotte groaned softly, holding her pillow close to her chest as she slowly opened her eyes, blinking rapidly to ignore the bright light.
'What is the thing you want to ask so badly that it cannot wait until I am awake and dressed?' Charlotte asked, feeling slightly annoyed, which only sparks Cho more. 'It was your birthday two days ago. Why did you not tell us?' Cho asked, giving her friend a slight pout as she pulled away her pillow and blanket. 'Ah no not the cold feeling of having my blanket taken off me.' Charlotte screeched, sitting up as she pulled her blanket against her chest.
'I did not tell, because I barely to ever celebrate my birthday. If you ask me it is not that big of a deal.' Charlotte said, shrugging her shoulders whilst dragging herself out of her bed. 'No one knows besides you two, and well Draco obviously. But I wonder. How do you know and where is Marietta gone of to already?' Charlotte asked looking around the room, noticing an envelope on her nightstand.
'Flitwick, I heard him mention something to the other teachers last night saying that no one even mentioned your birthday last Thursday. Which even made Dumbledore feel bad.' Cho admitted. 'You have been eavesdropping the Professors? You Miss Cho Chang?' Charlotte asked, laughing as she nodded her head yes ecstatically. 'I am so proud my little raven.' Charlotte laughed grabbing her friend into a hug.
'No worries, I will tell Oliver as well. Maybe. Does he have to know it was my birthday?' Charlotte asked, letting go of her friend as she walked to her closet. 'YES!' Cho exclaimed rather loudly, for this morning as she sat down on her bed. 'Have you heard anything from your family on your birthday?' Cho knew this was a sensitive topic to ask, but her curiosity always took the best of her.
'Sadly no, but I am used to it really. Knowing Draco, he is still out looking for something, he always tries to get it as perfect as possible. But no worries about it, it is fine really, and okay okay I will tell Oliver when we are out.' Charlotte looked through her clothes and placed her cream jumper and black trousers on the bed. 'What do you think of those two, with my brown jacket?' Charlotte asked Cho as she grabbed a pair of sneakers.
'Oh that would look absolutely adorable, Oliver is probably asking clothing advice from Percy.' Charlotte laughed at the comment Cho provided her, shaking her head as she went to the bathroom. 'I am going to quickly shower and get ready. Could you do me a favour and grab me a scone from the breakfast table before I have a rumbling tummy.' Charlotte begged Cho, looking back at her friend as she popped her head out of the bathroom door. 'Yes, yes go shower fool. I will see you downstairs.' Cho giggled.

Once Charlotte came out of the shower, she had realised it was only seven-fourth five and she still had enough time for breakfast. She has changed into the outfit both her and Cho agreed on before looking in the mirror, trying to figure out what she has to do with her hair. Knowing it will not be dry before her date with Oliver, Charlotte for once decided to leave it down, hoping the curls will not tangle to become this big mess.
Looking around the room, figuring out if she should add something to her outfit, she noticed the envelope once again. She has been to afraid to open it, but she knew it is time to do so.
"My dear Charlotte,
I apologise for taking so long to write you back love, things have been a little hectic at home. I miss you so much my little angel, I knew the day was going to come for you to leave the house and go to Hogwarts. I have to be honest if I tell you that I do miss having you around, but I know this is what you deserve in life my angel. I am sorry to hear that you are doubting your stay at Hogwarts already, but trust me this is an opportunity that you do not want to give up once summer is around. We have to discuss that boy once you are back home is that alright with you love? I am also happy that you adored the Christmas gifts we got you. Your mother is not a topic we should discuss through letters, once the Ministry finds those letters there might be a chance you will get questioned, and so will we. Three more months love, than you will be back with me. Both you and Draco safely back in my arms. Ignore Professor Snape's behaviour, he is a very well friend of the family and even has seen you as a little toddler since he was around quite often, then again I do not appreciate his rude behaviours to you. Regarding the fact of you wanting to stay home, let us make a deal. If by the summer holidays, you prefer to stay home once September first comes by you are allowed to do your studies at home, under the supervision of a teacher. I hope this letter reaches you before Thursday. Happy birthday my love, I will see you soon again I promise. I love you darling, reach out to me if you need me. No matter what you understand?
