Edd's POV

The bell rung signalling that it's lunch. I walk out of engineering and head towards my locker which is almost beside kevin's. I look over and see him scrambling to get something and go somewhere. 'I wonder what he's gonna do' i thought to myself as i watched him run and turn around the corner. I sigh.

'He is NEVER gonna like me the way i do' i mentally yelled at myself. I started to walk, putting in my headphones and clicked shuffle. My favourite song by We The Kings.

My song gets interrupted when i see someone sitting at the oak tree NO one sits at. I look closer and see that it's kevin.

'Oh no what am i gonna do?' I thought as i walked closer.

I noticed that he had his headphones in and was doing something. I walked closer and saw that he was drawing very nice looking letters saying 'Can I be the phasor to your electron and take you to an excited state?' With a nicely drawn heart around it. I look at the envelope beside him and it..... Has MY name on it.

"K-kevin? I-id that how you feel about me?" I said, voice cracking a bit.

He tenses when he heard my voice. He slowly closed his journal and stood up. I started to cower thinking he was gonna hit me. He turns and faces me with a blush spread across his face.

"I-uh i- pfft i don't know how to say thi-"

I interrupt him by walking up to him, looking him in the eyes and leaning in and planted my lips onto his. he just stood there shocked and with wide eyes. I pull away.

"You don't have to explain anything kevin, i understand your feelings and i also return them. I love you kevin."

I lean in and peck him on the lips realizing there's 5 minutes till lunch is over. I walk away and go get ready for class leaving kevin shocked and standing under the oak tree.
