"Mark?" said Dan. "What's going on here?" Dan had been trying to figure out what's been going on and he couldn't help but wonder who had been behind his friends' disappearance.
"Meet me at Starbucks then we can talk," answers Mark who hung up after telling Dan. Once Mark hung up, Dan made his way to the nearest starbucks where Mark had been waiting for him outside the building. He smiled weakly at Mark and shook his hand, it had been a long time since he and Mark had talked. The last time they talked was when they were making Darkiplier vs. Antisepticeye.
"Hey Dan," says Mark who had shook Dan's hand. "Long time no see,"
"Same to you buddy," responds Dan. "So your friend disappeared too?" The two walked into Starbucks and ordered their drinks.
"Yeah," Mark responded. "Wade and I were at the Asian history museum when he disappeared,"
"Justin was calling me shouting about some horned creature attacking him," Dan said. "After that all I could hear was words then static,"
"Words?" says Mark suspiciously, "You mean like this?" he pulled out a small sheet of paper that he wrote the message on and handed it over to Dan. Dan politely took the paper and read it over, he handed it back to Mark and nodded his head.
"Those were the words I heard, except for the 'your next' part," Dan answered. "Do you think that has anything to do with our friends' disappearances?"
"I believe so," Mark said, as he was about to say something, a young man who happened to be in the same Starbucks as them, walked over to their table. Mark looked at the young man with an arched eyebrow; he had darkened hair with blue eyes. He also wore a shirt and a pair of pants that were ripped at the knees.
"Sorry to intrude," says the young man. "But aren't you Markiplier and Dantdm?"
"Yeah?" Dan said. "Why?"
"I was only wondering if I could get a picture of the two of you," said the man. Mark and Dan looked at each other with hesitation but reluctantly, thinking that the kid was a fan, they obliged.
"Thank you so much!" says the young man as he pulled out his phone and took a picture of Mark and Dan. After he got the picture, he turned and walked casually out of the store. Dan and Mark looked at each other with confusion but shrugged that thought aside.
"That was weird," says Dan.
"You're telling me," Mark responded. "Are you going to Pax West today Dan?"
"Yeah, I might as well, I had forgotten all about Pax," Dan answered.
"Okay good," Mark said. "I think we should stick together at the same panel," he continued. "Whatever kidnapped our friends might try to take us and we have to make sure that we're in the same place together," Later that same day, Kristina, Shela and the Winchesters had gotten the fake badges and made their way to Pax west, they were wearing professional clothes that made them look like actual FBI agents. The group were sitting in the impala trying to come up with a plan.
"Okay," says Shela. "Here's the plan, Sam and Kristina, you guys will have to hold the fans back so we can go in and talk to Mark and Dan," she continued. "Dean and I will approach the YouTubers and talk to them,"
"Wait why do we have to keep the fans away? Shouldn't we help you?" suggested Sam.
"I think we can handle it, besides, this gives the two of you an opportunity to get to know each other better," Since they first met the Winchesters, Shela had been rooting for Sam and Kristina to at least get together.
"But we..." before Kristina could finish her sentence Shela already knew what Kristina was going to say.
"Talking over text does not count as getting to know each other," Shela interrupted causing Kristina and Sam to go silent. "Now what are we waiting for? Let's go save those YouTubers!" Shela exclaimed and walked off with Dean who was trying to hold back his laughter when he saw his brother's embarrassed expression. When the two were out of earshot Dean asked Shela a serious question.
"Okay so what do I say to these guys when we get to their panel?" Dean asked and made another good point. "I have never spoken to a youtuber," Dean finished and Shela gave him an unimpressed look.
"Neither have I so we're both in the same boat," Shela pointed out and Dean cursed under his breath when they spotted Dan and Mark's panel.
"Mark and Dan?" Dean asked, mixing the two youtubers.
"Umm I'm Mark, that's Dan," Mark said pointing to himself and then Dan. In response Shela stomped on his foot and before he could even protest she finished talking for him.
"Please excuse my partner he's terrified of youtubers," Shela said with a sarcastic smile.
"What? No I'm not!" Dean tried to say but Shela stepped on his foot again signaling him to shut up.
"You know flirting was a lot destructive in my day," Dan whispered into Mark's ear as he wasn't sure why these two were standing in front of him.
"We're with the FBI and we just wanted to ask you both some questions about your friend's disappearance," Dean said, pulling out his fake badge and Shela also held one up as she recently gotten her hands on some.
"We've already spoken to officers they think we're crazy," Mark pointed out, giving them both a suspicious look. Meanwhile Sam and Kristina had managed to get through the endless lines of multiple people using their fake FBI badges.
"How are we going to find anyone here this place is packed?" Sam asked as he was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of fans.
"Don't worry they will find them.... I hope," Kristina said, also feeling a bit overwhelmed with the crowd. Meanwhile Dean and Shela had put away their badges as Shela cleared her throat.
"We assure you that we won't think you're crazy," says Dean as the two YouTubers hesitated, and nodded their heads.
"Okay," said Dan.
"Is there a more private place we could talk?" questioned Shela who had a hard time concentrating with the amount of people around, if they were to get any evidence then they had to go somewhere where they could concentrate.
"Yeah," says Mark. "This way," Mark turned and led Shela, Dean, and Dan to their dressing room.
