This story, your story, would start out as you might expect. Those of you who read the files while it was still published already have a good idea of what happened, so I'll keep it short and wont go into too much detail.
Just kidding.
You were born on (Y/B) in Musutafu, Japan (because of course). Everything was good.
...for the first few years, that is.
Your parents were known across Japan as highly respected pro heroes, your father being The Light Hero: Yin, while your mother was The Water Hero: Hydra. And they quickly grew tired of you.
Hey don't get me wrong, they still took care of you and such and such and such, just not very well, if you know what I mean.
But you were a good kid, never forgetting your manners, never asking for things you knew you couldn't have, abiding by the rules upon rules your parents set for you.You never stepped out of line.
You never did anything wrong.
All you wanted was for your parents to be proud of you, but it wasn't enough, apparently.
You see, you were what they call a late bloomer, manifesting your quirk a whole two years later than the average age. It was a relief when it came, you knew your parents were giving up on you, if they haven't already.
Naturally, you were extatic. You used your quirk as much as possible, using it to heal small scrapes and bruises and creating little animals out of light to entertain yourself. Of course, you, being a tiny-tot 6-year-old, had no idea how powerful your quirk really was.But your parents did. And oh boy was that it for you.
Your quirk was a little something like your father's, only better. You could do things he couldn't, like fly and teleport, among other things, which you never failed to demonstrate.
Maybe this was your big moment. Maybe this would be the event that sparks change. You could just see it now! Your parents would pay attention to you, they would hold you and laugh with you, take you to nice places and never forget your birthday! They would come to all your school events and afterwards, you would all go out for icecream together, just like your friend Hime does with her parents! And maybe, just maybe, you could finally hear the words, "I'm proud of you".But that day, something did spark in your parents, and it wasnt what you were expecting. Something I like to call, "The Endeavor Effect".
A few days later, your parents said they wanted to train you to become "the best hero you could be", as they put it.
Of course, you, being the naive little toddler you were (while also coincidentally aspiring to be a hero just like lovely mom and dear old dad), accepted immediately.
