---------------

It was a typical Saturday just like any other. Chan sat at his computer working away, occasionally glancing down to try out a new beat on the pad next to his keyboard. Felix on the other hand, was bored out of his mind. He threw himself aggressively off his bed and dragged his feet slowly down the hall into the main room.

Chan peered up from the song he was working on when he heard the dramatic footsteps and groans of his best friend. "You seem to be in an absolutely fantastic mood mate," Chan chuckled his voice clearly laced with sarcasm. "Oh yeah I'm over the moon right now." He could help but giggle at the younger as he rolled his eyes. Felix plopped himself on the couch, throwing his head back to look at Chan, secretly admiring his sharp features. "I wanna do something, how close are you to finishing that song up?" Felix's subtle staring didn't go unnoticed and Chan slightly flushed seeing the blond boy study his features so intensely. "Uhm," He tried to compose his words, "I can take a break, I've been working for too long anyways." Giving Felix a cute smile, he saved his file and rested his headphones on his desk.

Now sat on the couch, the older motioned for the blond to come cuddle. Felix scooted over and sat in Chans lap. Almost like a baby being swaddled by a mother or a cat curled up in their owners lap. Chan's hands made their way into Felix's hair almost naturally and in return Felix's arms snaked around Chan's waist. "Bubs, you said you wanted to do something," The pet name accidentally spilled from Chans lips making both of them turn a light pink, "is uh- is this what you had in mind?" He stumbled through the last half of his sentence. Felix still flushed, tightened his arms subconsciously, "Uh this is nice," He buried his head into Chans chest, inhaling the sweet scent of his cologne. "but I didn't really have a plan. I just wanted to do something." Chan gently bit his lip, out of the fact that he was both dying over how cute his best friend was, and he was in thought. "Well, we should go somewhere! A little date? How does that sound Lixie?"

Felix suddenly perked up at the word 'date.' The two had been hopelessly crushing on each other for years at this point, but somehow they were absolutely convinced that the other didn't like them back. "A date! That'd be cute," A small giggle left Chans lips seeing the boy's excitement. "Where would you want to go? A coffee shop, restaurant date, lunch then a romantic walk through the park-" Felix stopped himself realising what he just said. "Uhm- I mean like completely platonic but uh you know the romantic vibes? Like a drama you know, but just... as friends." He whispered the last part, scrambling to cover up his mistake, although sending a shock of pain through both to both of their hearts.

"Ah, I know what you mean, don't worry sweets," Chan sadly smiled at Felix, thinking he knew that the boy didn't like him for sure after what he just said. "That sounds really fun! When do you want to leave? It's uhm... 9:24 right now, so we have plenty of time!" Felix seemed to almost vibrate out of pure excitement. They both let out a cute giggle, making both of the boys swoon for the other. "Well then let's go!!" Felix said immediately hopping off of Chan, causing the latter to let out a slightly pained groan. Felix laughed out a quick sorry as both of the boys went to their respective rooms to get ready for the day ahead of them.

Felix exited his room first, making a beeline for the bathroom to put on some makeup, but before he could get to the bathroom he was confronted by Chan. "Lixie you look ready, whats up?" "Oh just gonna go cover up my freckles," His face instantly saddened at the fact that Felix wanted to cover up something so gorgeous. "Huh, Chan, bub wha-" Chan engulfed him in a hug. "Come on love, let's get a move on. It's just the two of us we don't need makeup. You're just as gorgeous with or without it, I love your freckles." Chan mumbled the last bit into the crook of the younger's neck. Felix soon resembled a tomato, completely flushed from Chan's words and actions. "O-oh okay, I won't cover them up for you," He said, now feeling overwhelmed with confusion and the butterflies very prominent in his tummy. "Thank you, you look really nice," Chan muttered, his lips lightly grazing the nape of Felix's neck with each word, almost as if they were light kisses littering his neck.
