I cracked open my heavy eyelids, scrunching my face from my sore body and wincing as I twisted my neck to the side where I met the clock's flashing led.

It's 1:30 in the goddamn morning, and there's screeches rattling outside my window. I groaned, knowing only one person who could pull this off.

My head, unusually heavy like a boulder, pressed on my shoulder as I tried to prop on the headrest. Moonlight spilled in slits on the darkened floor, and I lifted my eyes at the window.

"Uni-" I hitched my breath; the window spat out one person and when I thought it's gonna end there, another one came in.

"Blaster!" The person whispered. "We found a doctor!"

He came closer, revealing Zild as he shook my shoulders and almost pulling away my blankets, but I just screwed my eyes shut, gritting my teeth when headaches suddenly hammered on me.

"Hey,hey, hey! no time for that. We have an appointment to make."

An appointment? His shaking stopped, and I took deep breaths to ease the pa in, still processing what he said. Zild flashed his phone flashlight on me, squinting my eyes to see Badj standing behind Zild.

"Why does it have to be so ear-"

"I did some deep web searching last night and found out there's a local doctor who could do it," Badj interrupted me, flicking on his flashlight out of his pockets. "We got only an hour left before we could meet him."

"So get your ass out of bed and let's go!" Zild pulled my arm.

"I..." I said weakly and followed with a harsh cough. "I don't think I can do this right now."

As much as I want this thing to get over with, why this time when my body decided to give up on me!?

"No excuses! You're gonna seriously die from this if we don't do it."

Oh, damn right. That idea was beaten in a pulp by my subconsciousness that I'd probably say it's a huge red flag of my coping mechanism from my fucked situation.

My body weirdly turned cold, deciding that it just wanted to stay glued to the bed as my eyelids threatened to give up its heavy weight.

"C'mon, Blaster.." Zild's voice was trailing off to me.

"This is bad. He's shivering so much.."

My shivering body begged demands: warmed and wrapped in a blanket like a freshly served burrito where I can doze off. But right now, all I got are warm arms wrapped around my torso and cloth being slipped in my arms then on my head.

Then a bitter taste was threatening to come out of my throat. I knew this feeling all well; I rushed to throw my head on the bedside, escaping from my friend's arms, and let that bitter taste all out, squirming at its delightful sight.

"Shizzzz! I almost got that on me." squealed Zild."But that looks interesting."

The white liquid on the floor had red petals in them and some rice grains thrown in there from my mom's Arroz Caldo.

With my head spinning so much, I didn't realize that these monkeys somehow uprooted my body chained to the bed as my arms are tightly wrapped around their warm necks.

"We got no choice.." I heard them murmur as they dragged my feet. Hearing my door's clicks and slow triggered my second nature.

I groaned and wiggled my arms around their neck.
