In second grade I was called names, and one time even pushed down to the ground.
I was that kid that would threaten to tattle on people, then never have the courage to actually do it.
I remember in fourth grade I signed up for All City Chorus. I moved schools a few times
so I got to see some of my old friends there.
Going to dress rehearsals and being up on stage with my friends made me feel so
special. Like no one could take it away. Yet, on the night we were performing, someone commented on what I was wearing and I chickened out. I've been a shy kid, and after that I was so ready to step out of my shell and call her out on it..
I care a lot what people think of me, even when I know I shouldn't.
Then again, I re auditioned for All City Chorus in fifth grade.
Fifth grade was horrible. So I auditioned and went to one rehearsal. After my dad dropped us off, my mom said someone tried to come in the house. It started with phone calls. Then questions after questions. On Valentine's Day, I went into school, collected my things and later that day, we went to Waterbury. We never thought anyone would find us. My brother sister, and I stayed for about a month, and yet they still tracked us down.
