"Nicole, I'm -"

"No Matt. I'm going to bed."

"Nicole just listen to what I have to say, please."

I turned around to face him, "Matt, I said I am going to bed. If you know what's best for you, you should too."

"Just let me say one last thing" he pleaded.

I crossed my arms. I know he knows that that means 'go on.'

"Nicole, I got angry. I heard that, and...and I just didn't know what to do. I forgave you for your mistakes, could you forgive me for mine? I love you too much to let you go."

I turned and started to walk away. I could feel his eyes change from practically begging, to sadness.

"I love you too Matt."

Not looking behind, I reached my door, opened it, walked in, and closed the door behind me. I leaned on the back of the door, and slid down so I was now sitting.

My head in my hands, I said "Oh my god. Why...?"

"So what happened?" a familiar voice asked and I jumped, hitting my head in the back of the door. I guess I forgot that Mahogany left before me and we share a room.

"Ouch! And nothing really," I shook my head.

"Then why did you take so long getting back here?" Mahogany asked.

"I kinda ran into to Matt in the hallway. He just wanted to tell me something," I responded.

"And what did he tell you?"

"Nothing,"

"Ya lyin',"

"Fine, he said that he got angry and didn't mean to react like that. And that he forgives me for not telling him at first, and he asked me if I could forgive him."

"That's it?"

"Pretty much," I said, trying to shrug the topic off.

"Pretty much means you're not telling the whole truth," she said in a singsong voice.

"...He said that he loves me too much to let me go."

"He's a keeper."

I said nothing.

"Everybody messes up-"

"I know that," I interrupted.

"Let me finish, mistakes are made, and we can't help that. We all have flaws that we aren't proud of. But we all eventually overcome them. Matt just wants the best for you, that's all he wants. He doesn't care about how you look, as long as you're yourself. He may be slightly protective, but that just means that he cares about you. You know his flaws, that's why you're having second thoughts. But in the end of it all, you love him, and he certainly loves you too."

"Damn, Mahogany. When'd you become a relationship expert?"

I know he loves me, I known I love him. I don't know though. If I make another little mistake, would he be set off again?

"Okay, I'm going to bed. We had a long day, and the show's tomorrow." I said after a minute of silence, while grabbing my pajamas and walking to the bathroom.

"Me too, night Nicole," Mahogany said, burying herself under the covers.
