The Broken silence

Kate's p.o.v

After little sleep i was woken up by a text message

Tina " are you mad !!! "

i stared puzzled  for a few moments wondering what the fuck she was doing texting me asking if i was mad at 3:00AM, putting my annoyed mood aside i text her back

Kate: No but thanks for your concern, anyway why are you texting me at 3:00AM ???

after that i fell into a deep sleep only to wake up a few hours later by another message

Tina: Oh so now you suddenly don't remember  your rather saucy affair with who happens to be MY BOYFRIEND !!!! >:(

I stared blank at Tina's text rage for a couple of minutes, then it all came flooding back to me as turned my head to find an empty bottle of vodka on my bedroom floor..

Flashback

It was the night of Tina's 18th birthday and also her baby shower , she seemed pretty gutted too because as far as getting drunk goes she wasn't aloud no alcohol as advised by her doctor and strongly reinforced by her parents, but lately she said she was having doubts about her and her boyfriend Tyler's relationship and had no problem telling him after their explosive argument

So since me and him were kinda close i decided to go talk to him to see if he was okay and we started chatting about how things seem like there really going to change once Tina has the baby then he started saying stuff like " Wow we 've gotten really close lately" then we sort  kissed i guess ........so yeah

I figured that answered my questioning about why she wasn't talking to me for what... the past four weeks by now it was like e 10:30 so i had to get up other wise I'd be  late for work experience , and on top of that i would get to see prego's lucky me ..... i went down stairs to find that Mum had already made breakfast and she didn't seem in such a sunny mood either " you have work in less than half an hour" I sat down at the table  and scratched the back of my head "yeah il get dressed and you can drive me down there in a sec." Mum looked at me unamused "Um no , if you have time to party then you have time to take yourself to work......."

so then my mum stormed off again, and yes as you can see my mum and me aren't so close and guess what here's another surprise we never were  so much so that i am seriously thinking of hiring a hit man to kill her ........ and a few others that had underestimated for the last 18 years of my life

no-one knew and no-one had to know all I had to do is find the man for the job and i knew exactly where to go.

----------------------------Hours later...

I came to a halt in a small alleyway at a building which had a sign coffee shop The sign was switched to closed it always is at this time of night .. but coffee was not what I had in mind. I crept round the back of the building and came to a door with the shutters down and a sign in capital saying "AUTHORISED ENTRANCE ONLY" knocked on the door i heard a rattle as the shutters where pulled up to find Zen "What do you want .........." I stared in stunned silence trying to find the words to say something and when I finally do it all goes down hill

"Wow you look, you've changed since I've last seen you...how come your not in school any more" I slapped myself in the head just realising how stupid I look coming to a hit man hideout and going all googly eyed.  He wasn't to charmed to say the least "Listen I don't have time for catch up sessions any more so if your going to waste my time I suggest you leave ...... " I hesitated for a moment wracking my brain trying to think of why I came here, then it hit me "Your boss!, i came to have a word with your boss.. Zen turned in alert " Shh pipe down bitch or you'll get us all in deep shit ."  he kept quiet for a few minutes  checking to see if anyone heard . he turned back to me "Go threw there."

I went inside to find loads of men drinking and playing poker and darts , "More like a pub than a coffee shop don't you think" Zen gave no reply and pulled me aside to a small room where his boss was  "Here go waste someone else's time." The door opened slightly and i saw someone signal me to come in  I sat on a wooden chair behind the desk  Before i was finally acknowledged "What's your means of being here..and make it quick .... guns bombs what" I swallowed nervously "I was wondering  actually if you could kill- i was suddenly stopped "Nope no can do sunshine" i looked at him "why?" he glared at  back at me we go work to do ....... so if you wouldn't mind leaving" i turned to try and negotiate  then he stood up " Leave ..........." I turned again to try and make my case convincing "What am i meant to do drown in misery !!" He didn't bother looking up from the news paper "Don't worry your misery will drown itself faster than you think, just you wait........ 

I stormed out  and headed down the main alleyway in anger and disappoint but then stopped in thought Something must be going on, what did Zen's boss mean by my misery would drown sooner than I think

Zen's P.o.v

After I shut the door my boss signalled me to come into his office and it looked urgent I went inside to find him unamused i stood in front of his desk "What's going on then? He shut his news paper and looked up "Tell the other to lock down because by tomorrow your goin it with you g undercover  to that school you need to find her A.S.A.P  she's gotten too comfortable coming here ........ grab your gun make sure you take with you you'll need it .
