Lucia sneaks into the paddock and into Micks driver room. He is away doing the sky press conference. So she has a good twenty minutes or so.

As soon as she felt a bit off. She stopped traveling with Mick. As her mama used to say sometimes you just know. She flew home to her Mum. Out of her and Micks new Swiss home. After their disagreements on moving forward they settled on getting their first home and looking into puppies.
It took longer than they thought it would as they both wanted to find their forever home. Not just a pit stop.
Then Lucia couldn't settle on a home in Switzerland as she wasn't sure she wanted to live there. So of course Mick took her around Switzerland to show her the good points.
Then she happily settled with a beautiful home.

But then she felt a little off and ran off home to her mum. Even though they FaceTimed and Lucia told a little white lie to mick on why she couldn't leave again. Now she is here decorating his driver room, in balloons, banners and a secret.
She is just finished when Mick walks in. "Lu!! Lu!!" He yells and picks her up. "I have missed you! So so much!!" Lucia starts to cry just at the sight of Mick. It's been a long seven eight weeks without seeing him.
"Are you okay baby?" Mick asks Lucia. As he's still not overly used to seeing her emotional. "Yeah. I'm okay. Please put me down though. Your aftershave is making me feel nauseous."

Mick puts her down and then notices the balloons and banners. "What's the surprise?" He asks his girl. Lucia pulls up her baggy jumper and exposes her little bump. "What? Huh? I'm confused." Mick says. Lucia rolls her eyes at him. They had been busy with the new house that they hadn't even thought about a dog yet. Let alone other things with each other.
Rings and babies.

Mick looks at Lucia. She has a silent happiness about her that he can't put his finger on. "Open your card Mickey, then it'll make sense."
It's an early Father's Day card.
"What's this? I'm not..." Lucia looks at Mick annoyed that he's talking without looking properly.
He looks back down at the card and opens it.

"Dear Daddy,
I know we haven't met yet.
But I just wanted to say Happy Father's Day. Next year we will be together to celebrate.
But until then Mama is keeping me safe.
Love you.
Baby Schu."

Mick looks shocked.. but smiles when he looks at the little scan photos. "For real? Baby. An actual baby." Lucia looks nervous at Mick. Before nodding her head. "Yeah. An actual baby. Half me.. half you." She says to him. Half expecting him to go crazy. But he smiles.
"Come here baby. Babies."
He pulls Lucia into his chest, kissing her forehead. He is enjoying just having Lucia in his arms again after her being away for a while. "I'm just so glad your back. I've missed you baby. Will we go grab dinner tonight?" Mick asks Lucia. "Yeah... we can do."

Walking out of the track, Mick is super protective of Lucia. They usually walk just beside each other but this time, he has his arm wrapped around her and the both of them can't stop smiling. Not caring who can see them and take photos.
They aren't even out for dinner before the first photographer has tagged mick in a photo. Mick tags Lucia in it when he reposts it.

"Thank you for capturing this moment between Lu and I. This is what it looks like to see your soul mate again after 9 long weeks without her."

He disables comments and leaves it at that. During their meal, it's a complete different feel to how their last official date night went. They have the proper deep conversations about babies and how they would announce it... when it happens. *wink wink*
Lucia sits giggling and looking so much more content and happy. "You'd need to tell your parents as mine would obviously know... well it mum would." Lucia laughs. "Yeah.. that would be a fun conversation. Huh." Lucia nods her head.
"Is it crazy to have a baby this young?" Mick shakes his head. "Just gives us longer with them... and plenty time to give them a huge family." Mick loves to tease Lucia. "Eh. How about we see how the first one goes then we can think about more later." Mick nods his head laughing at her shocked face.
"As long as we never lose this feeling we will always be okay." Mick grabs her hand and holds it for a while.

Walking back to the room, he can't help but want to touch lucia's now more evident bump. "I just want to bend down and kiss it.. definitely think in going to just tell my mom in the morning... before she comes to the track and sees you." Mick tells Lu.
As soon as Lucia starts to get ready for bed. Her little shorts and little strappy top combo, is cute and works as the room is too hot with her hormones. Mick rolls up her top and pushes kisses into the bare skin of her growing tum. "As much as I was so against this... a few months back. This is the most beautiful sight I've ever seen. It makes me love you so much more. Knowing you are growing a little baby, our little baby."
They stay up late, talking like they've never before.

Mick wakes up late. Missing his alarm from being up late. He quickly showers and leaves. Texting Lucia as he does. "Come to the track when you're up and ready. But take your time. Love you."

When Lucia gets to the track, it's midway through the first free practise. So she hides out in hospitality. Gina and Corinne come in not long after it finishes. They instantly spot Lucia and go over to her. They hug her but Lucia can't help but be a bit stand offish. "New look?"  Gina asks Lucia, as she is more covered up than usual and the dress is loose rather than a second skin.
"Yeah. Decided I'd try and look the part. What do you think?" Lucia asks them. Taking care not to pull the dress in too much at the stomach. "Hmm. I'm sure mick prefers the tighter dresses... oh speak of the devil." Corinne turns around and smiles at her son.
"Ah you came early." Mick says to Lucia. Who nods her head. But she had already figured out he hadn't told them.

"Is everything okay?" Corinne asks mick. Who looks around sheepishly. "Yeah. Well we have something to share..: but later." Mick says to his mum.
