twenty two: drunk

"Let's go, let's go~!" Donghyuck exclaims after NCT 127's tiring schedule of the day- now heading for their dinner party with their staff. "I'm hungry!"

"Where are we eating?" Taeil asks their manager who then, answers that they're going to a karaoke centre.

This fuelled them up even more, especially, Donghyuck. After all, they are singers and the thought of being able to just shout at the top of their lungs make them excited.

Fullsun whips his head around in search of one person only and that lovesick grin of his appears instantly when he spots her.

Eunwol stuffs her hands in the pockets of her fluffy, oversized(you guessed it) hoodie.

The idea of finally being able to have a dinner party with her is making his ecstatic- more so after she told him how she had that team party with Stray Kids last time.

He's still salty about that.

He suddenly, gets weighed down by Jaehyun's arm that hooks around his neck.

"You look really happy," Jaehyun observes with a soft smile- eyes upturned slightly. "What are you planning on singing?"

Haechan lifts himself up and looks at him before at Winwin who's also, there. "I don't know. I wanna eat first."

Yuta joins beside him. "Should we bring the drinks out too?"

"Of course! What's the fun without it," Jaehyun agrees. "Do you think they'll have beer?"

Donghyuck's mind runs as they continue talking with each other. Drinks? Will Eunwol drink, then? Does she even drink?

He looks over to the girl. She doesn't look like the type. But it makes him wonder more on how she is when she's drunk.

Music blasts through the speakers of their big, private karaoke room.

Only a few staffs are there, the ones the idols are most comfortable with while the rest already left for home or are in another room.

Although, the staffs in the idols' room are mostly asleep or are barely awake from the alcohol.

Johnny and Mark are screaming into the microphones together with arms linked as they sway side to side off-beat.

Both are completely drunk.

Their teammates cheer from the sides, some dancing wildly while some others are shaking the tambourines fiercely.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA sO uGLy!" Donghyuck bursts hysterically as he points at Mark and Johnny who are twerking- Taeil slowly joining and wiggling his butt.

Meanwhile, a drunk momma Taeyong is trying to contain them but can barely even stand straight and is constantly flailing like those tall, air balloon figures outside grocery stores.

Hyuck's laughter only grows louder and Doyoung, who's only mildly drunk is enjoying the view as he records them- planning to use it as blackmail.

"Eunwol-ah~ Come and dance! This is my favourite song!" Jungwoo invites the said girl who has been giggling and clapping along with their drunken singing.

She hesitates and looks over to her seniors who are sleeping and she thinks, why not?

So, she ends up jumping here and there, joining them and the members cheer for her as she stands in the middle of their circle with Jungwoo.

Donghyuck huffs aggressively and stares at them with a pout, jealous.

He dashes into the dance group and engulfs the girl into his arms. "yA! sHe's mInE! hYunG, wHaT aRE yOu dOinG?"

Doyoung's ears perk up and his interest intensifies as he watches their maknae claim Eunwol.

"Oh! Haechan-ah! Join the pArtYyyY!" Taeil slurs but the younger's 'angry drunk' personality has arose.

"Donghyuㅡ oW!" Johnny hisses when Haechan smacks his hand from reaching out to them.

"nO!" Haechan rejects. "EUnwOl, iS mInEeeEee! MoVe yOu hUngRy SavAgEs!"

"ooOoOoOHH, hE's jEalOus!!" Johnny shouts and gains uproarious, elated reactions.

Mark giggles. "Of course, hE iSs! iT's bEcAusE hE has aㅡ oOPs! I aLmOST sAid it!"

Eunwol's eyes widen slightly- knowing what he was about to spill. "You guys should continue singing. I'm just gonna go back and sit."

She starts to walk away and Hyuck's hold slips from her.

He frantically turns to her and sulks. "YAH! wHere are yOu gOinGgg? Don't yoU loVe mE anYmore??"

She nearly chokes on air while Doyoung gapes.

The other members gasp, some squealing, some screeching- the point is, they're all drunk.

Donghyuck frowns. "YOu sAid yOu lOvE MEeeee!"
