chapter 4: Impecable timing (Crushing on Micheal?)

"Ohh dude a big noo to the cafeteria.." I exclaimed shoving my books inside the bag.

My head was busy thinking about the projects and assignments we've got today and so I thought of going to the library to scan some unique ideas for my project.

Tonight's gonna be an awful night. With study tables all messed up with papers, sketches and loads of weariness.

Well I'll ask Ashley for her project, who would have stolen it from somebody and would have straight copied it without adding a single word of her own.

I could hear some weird noises from my stomach and felt an empty sensation. I was famished..I was so hungry that I could eat a horse!

I turned towards Ashley who was busy gossiping with Kenzie about her favourite actor HERO FIENNES for the umpteenth time.

"So come ...Let's goo " I said giving her a reassuring smile.

"Hailey Listenn..I have a plan", Ashley said following the linoleum floor corridor as it curved left leading to the cafeteria. There was no one in the corridor. It was all empty.

"Yay and what's that plan?!" I asked folding my arms across my chest and patiently waited for her answer.

"You remember that guy whom I've been crushing on since the last two months?!" She says with an excited smile.

"Who that junior year guy...What was his name ...I guess some Mich--"

"Michael..his name is Micheal Grayson" she added.

"Oo yes..yes I remember" I winked at her.

"Okayy so now let's come back to the plan. You know that tonight we're having a prom and we won't be going ..but he'll be there. And I want to meet him. So I have an idea"

"I guess you are forgetting about his girlfriend -- SAMANTHA HARRIS." I exclaimed rolling my eyes.

Micheal and Samantha together make a great match. And everybody knows that. Ohh gosh! Someone please explain this to Ashley.

"I know Hailey and that's the worst part..bb...buttt Listenn one of my cousins is in the mafia and he'll surely help us" She says enthusiastically.

"What the heck!? You mean to say that we'll kidnapp Samantha for a night so that you can be with Micheal in tonight's prom?! I asked narrowing my eyes.

"Nooooo..Hailey we're not going to kidnapp Samanthaa butt--"

"Did you both say my name" A voice from our back broked our conversation.

I turned in the direction form where the voice came from and saw a tall, wasp waisted blondie with a high ponytail.

Holy Shittt ..We're dead! It was Samantha.

"I heard you both speaking about Micheal " Samantha asked approaching towards us.

No this can't happen. Samantha is super possessive of him. And if she had heard what Ashley said then congrats we should prepare our graves.

Someone please find me Harry Potter's invisibility cloak.I want to disappear out of this mess.

Ashley who just noticed that Samantha had heard our conversation was now in the same shock.

I squeezed Ashley's fingers and pulled her behind when she tried to say..
because I very well knew that she'll spit some shit which would surely book our tickets to hell!

"W--We were actually talking about tonight's prom...that you and Micheal will be our prom King and Queen.."I told Samantha with a fake smile.

I was too skittish but somehow managed it.

"Are you both sure", she asked raising one of her eyebrows.

"Obviously..Samantha. Can't wait to see you both on tonight's prom" Ashley from behind my back chuckled.

"How sweet ..Well then see you tonight" Samantha says waving us a goodbye.

Finally she's gone. We took a deep sigh and couldn't stop ourselves from laughing.
