Nightfall

The Padawan

The Siege of Christophsis had come to a close. It was an early victory for the Republic in what would be known as the Clone Wars.

Back at the Republic base, an individual entered the barracks, and the Clones turned to look at him. The young man, who couldn't have been older than 19 or 20, wore a fitted tunic that was dark brown and brown in coloration, with black segments of armor, black fingerless gauntlets, a dark brown belt, and dark brown boots. His left shoulder armor boasted the Jedi Order symbol.

A Clone, whose rangefinder-equipped helmet possessed a green-colored fin and Jaig Eyes, with armor that featured an antenna on the left shoulder, a kama, and green-colored shoulders, elbows, hands, and knees, stepped towards the man.

"General Nightfall, what's the situation?" The Clone asked.
"Our work here is done, Lock, and we've been called back to Coruscant. Well, at least I have. Master Windu has requested my presence. I want you and the men ready to leave within two hours."
"Understood, sir. I'll ensure the ship is loaded up before then," Lock responded.
Christian nodded at Lock, then turned to take his leave.

2 hours later...

With the Salvation, a Venator-class Star Destroyer, loaded up and boarded, Christian and Lock entered the bridge. A man, who was roughly mid-40s, with brown hair and green eyes, turned to face them.

"General Nightfall and Commander Lock, it's good to see you both," the man said, as the two of them approached him.
"Likewise, Admiral," Christian replied.
"Have all preparations been made?"
"Yes, sir. The Salvation is ready to go," the Admiral responded.
"Good, plot a course for Coruscant."
"Yes, general," the Admiral replied, as he then began to order the crew to launch the ship.
After launching, the Salvation made its way into orbit, and then lunged into hyperspace.

Sometime later...

The Salvation exited hyperspace, and it made its descent onto Coruscant. The ship would eventually dock at the Republic base, with Christian ordering Lock and the rest of the 343rd Attack Battalion to get some much needed rest, while he made his way to the Jedi Temple to meet with Master Mace Windu.
