"I'm home" Shoto informed as he walked into the small apartment.

Izuku whipped his head in the direction of his best friend and immediately frowned at the sight. Shoto had small tears forming in his eyes.

"What's wrong?" Izuku walked up to him. "What happened sho?" Shoto shook his head. "I don't want to talk about it right now". He walked past Izuku and headed for his room. "Did Kirishima do something?" Izuku assumed this because he was recently just with the redhead. Shoto paused, "Don't worry about it" he mumbled before shutting his door.

Izuku confirmed his suspicions but didn't want to pressure the boy. He'd just wait until he came around.

Izuku yawned as he woke up. It was Sunday which meant he had the whole day to himself. But today he wanted to devote his time to his best friend. Ever since Shoto started dating Kirishima, he hasn't really had any time to spend with Izuku and Izuku honestly missed hanging out with his best friend.

Izuku washed and got dressed, throwing on some black skinny jeans and one of Bakugou's white hoodies he managed to steal. He headed over to Shoto's room across from his.

"Sho?" he knocked. No answer, he may be asleep. Izuku knocked again "I'm going to come on" he warned before slowly opening the door. Shoto was laying in his bed, watching something on his screen. Most likely youtube. "Shoto do you wanna go out with me today? I was thinking maybe we could go to the trail park or something".

Shoto looked up from his phone for a split second. "I don't want to today. Sorry, Izuku" then his attention went back towards his screen. Izuku walked over to his head and looked to see what Shoto was watching.

Of course, it was a music video of his favorite artist NF. Shoto always listens to his music when he felt upset or down, he always said that NF's music was an outlet for him. But Izuku didn't like it, it's not like he didn't like the artist. It's just that Nf's music is sad to him and he feels that it makes Shoto more upset.

"Shot come one please. Don't do this to yourself. " Izuku grabbed the phone from his friend's hands. "We haven't hung out for a while and I miss you" Izuku put the phone in his back pocket. Shoto whined as he sat up, "But-" "No, we're going and that's that. Get dressed" Izuku demanded. He wasn't going to sit and watch his friend go into another depressing state.

After Shoto's past ex, he fell into a deep depression. He barely ate and only came out of his room to wash. He'd blast Nf's music and read sad novels. It lasted about 4 months, which seemed like a year for Izuku. He had tried everything to get the boy up and out but it never worked. One day Shoto had decided to start going to clubs to heal his pain. There, he would let go of his worries and dance until he couldn't. It wasn't the best outlet but at least it got him out of the house.

Shoto sighed, knowing there was no room for any arguments. "Fine" he got up and headed to the bathroom.

Eventually, both Izuku and Shoto were ready to head out. Shoto wore grey capris that stopped in the middle of his calf and a red and grey shirt that had zigzag like patterns. They both wore their black converses. Izuku grabbed his keys as he locked the door behind him.

"So where are we going ?" Shoto asked. Izuku shrugged, "I don't know yet. I guess we could walk downtown and see what's up" they walked out of the apartment.

"Oh look Shoto! They have new albums!" Izuku dragged his best friend over to the All might merch section. They had made it downtown and a new store caught Izuku's eyes, probably because of the fact that they had an all might sale poster.

"Izuku don't you have enough of that weird man's stuff in your room?" Shoto was right, Izuku had posters and figures of the singer filled up in his room. He even had an All might bed set. "First, he's not weird. He just so happens to be one of the best artists alive. Plus, I don't have the album yet, I need it." he informed. "Your just jealous I pay more attention to him than to you" Izuku teased.

"Nu-uh!" Shoto pouted, "I don't care about All right or whatever his name is."

Izuku laughed. "Sure" he sarcastically replied, picking up the album and heading over to the register where he paid for the album. They walked to a more familiar store, Shoto's favorite one, Hot topic.

"Ahhh look Izuku!" Shoto was now dragging Izuku over to his favorite section. "They brought in more Levi posters! Ou and shirts!" Izuku laughed. While he had an obsession was with his favorite singer all might, Shoto's had his favorite anime character, Levi Ackerman. "Don't make so much noise fan girl!" Izuku teased. "What's so good about this man anyway?" Izuku questioned, picking up a figure of the character.

"Wait! Nevermind!" Izuku knows he shouldn't have asked. The last time this happened, Shoto went on for hours explaining every detail of Levi and how hot he was. He kept on talking about how he'd drop everything if he could be real. He even said that he'd sacrifice Izuku, which was cruel.

Soon after, the two best friends finally left hot topic, with Shoto carrying more bags of Levi's merch. "I'm hungry Izuku, let's go somewhere to eat" Shoto complained. "Where do you wanna go?" "I don't know, just somewhere to fill my stomach. Izuku thought for a moment before looking around. "How about panda express?" he asked.

Shoto shook his head. "Okay, then what about...five guys?" Shoto shook his head again. "Then how about chick-fla-a ?" Shoto once again shook his head. He was hungry but none of these places sounded like a place he'd want to cure his hunger right now.

Izuku frowned as he grabbed his best friend's arm. "We're gonna go to a place I want to." he leads them over to Starbucks. Izuku needed a coffee and also wanted to sit down somewhere.

After they ordered and got their drinks, the boys went to a two-person table beside one of the windows.

Izuku hesitated, "Shoto? Are you gonna tell me what's wrong now?" Izuku asked. Shoto instantly looked away towards the floor. He didn't want to worry about that right now but he knew Izuku wasn't going to let it go. "Me and Kiri are on a break".

Izuku gasped, "Why? What the hell did he do? Do I need to kick his ass??"

Shoto chuckled, "No, Izuku. I was the one who decided we should take a break.."

"But why?" Izuku asked. Shoto shrugged, "He doesn't want to be seen out in public with me, or so it seems like it. I asked him why and he said he just wasn't ready". Izuku rolled his eyes, "Bullshit. Not ready for what?? You two have been together for four months."

"I know. That's why I told him that we should take a break until he feels like he's ready to tell me." Shoto paused, "I just hope he doesn't lose interest in me or something..."

Izuku sighed, "I'm sure he would come back and ready soon Sho, I can tell he really loves you. He brags to kacchan about you all the time". "Really?" Izuku nodded. Shoto slightly smiled at the thought. Izuku bit his lip in thought.

"Come to think of it, has he told you about his sexuality?" Izuku asked. "No, I just assumed it since he took interest in me...". Izuku nodded and thought for a second. "I got it! Maybe he's not ready to come out to everyone. Kacchan and us may be the only ones who know he's interested in men."

Shoto's eyes widened, "Izu! I think your right! ahh I'm such an Idiot" Shoto mentally slapped himself. Why didn't Kiri just tell him though? Is that why he called himself a coward? It all makes sense now...

"What do I do?" Shoto asked. Izuku shrugged, "I don't know, maybe wait a few days so he can process things then go talk to him about it maybe?". Shoto nodded, he was lucky to have Izuku by his side. "Thank you so much Zuzu. I owe ya one!"

The two eventually finished their drinks and headed home.
