A New Queen

Meeting the prince

I wake up in an unusual room that smells of lavender, I feel silk covers under my fingers. I get up with uncertainty, I feel as if someone is watching me and I've proven myself correct as I hear a cough behind me. I turn around and see Sir Phillip, he's looking at me as if I've grown two heads.

        "ARE YOU OKAY?" he asks with great concern. "Yes, just a little shaken up they don't have wolves that turn human where I'm from" I answer. He laughs at me and I just pout annoyed that he laughs at royalty but I can't blame him, he doesn't know who or what I am. I just stand there waiting for him to stop laughing at me. "Ok, are you done?" I asked him after the laughter didn't cease.

       He was still laughing and it was really getting irritating , maybe I can kill him and jump from the window. I walk towards the window, as I look down I see that I'm 5 stories above the ground. I look towards Sir Phillip, "Where are you if you don't mind me asking Sir Phillip?" he looks at me and gets up and walks in my direction, grabs my hand, and pulls me toward the door. We walk down the corridor and afterward we face a grand door that looks like gold.

        He looks back at me and while opening the door he states "We're at the Lunar Palace my dear", I cover my face as I realize we've entered the throne room with the king and his court all staring at us. I glare at Sir Phillip as he just smiled and winked at me, as I know they're royalty I put my head down in respect.

         My inner vamp is getting aggravated though as she has never bowed her head down for anyone, not even father who always uses his very powerful voice against us, the same voice who even had other kings shaking. "Come here" I hear the king speak to me. I walk towards him reluctantly as I approach his throne he steps down and walks towards me,

     I bow down and he picks my head up which shocks me. "This woman right here is your future queen" he states which shocks me and everyone in the court. I did not agree to this, but I know it will not be a good idea to deny the king in front of his court,which will make him seem weak. I hear footsteps and I turn my head towards the sound. " Well at least she has beauty father" a man that is tall and dark says.
