Sarkany: The Clans of Dragons

Chapter 1: The Present

Have you once thought about what happens in places where no one is ever looking? Or even about the existence of beats that may or not hide under your bed? Have you perhaps once wondered if there is something out there that is unlike everything you once knew? Something scary? Perhaps, something peculiar? Yes, there is indeed.

Welcome mediocre human! To a place where your limited mind would never dream of: Sarkany. The home of creatures never once seen by human eyes, a land hidden on the forgotten surfaces of the earth. Yes, right under your human noise! If you were searching for a paradisiac place to spend that mediocre five-days-vacation that middle-aged people struggle to get so, congratulations! It is time to get your tickets to Hawaii because no human's lost soul has ever been here. As a matter of fact, I am not allowed to tell you anything. However, if you are really curious, insanely curious, and you could not bear any more second living on the tedious earth without knowing anything. Then, I think it would be a good idea to explore somewhere near the Bermuda Triangle.

I am Ahra Fayer, the third child of the Red Dragon Clan leader, Oriel Fayer. We are from the most important family of half of Sarkany, where the heroes are born to wield and protect Fayer, a sword given as a gift from a legendary red dragon. As it said, I was born with the silver spoon in my mouth, which could have given me some luck, but it did not. I don't know how familiar you are with successions lines but, after the second child, it goes downhill.

The people of Sarkany are divided between two clans. The Red Dragon Clan explores the magic and protect Fayer, the legendary sword. The other lives surrendered to the technology and are the guardian of Diánia, the Mana Crystal, they are the White Dragon Clan. The special thing about us? We are hunters, but I am not talking about fox hunters or ant hunters, we are Urbs hunters! As you may have been imagining, they are not something like chickens or lions, or even the weirdest platypus. They are unimaginable and curious creatures that would only appear in one's most mysterious dream. Some of them have legs so long that they can fly with that and others have skin so bright that people might use it instead of candles.

If you are becoming bored of all this explanation, don't worry dear reader, this adventure will start anytime soon. However, if you were expecting some sort of "well-thought" and complex world where all of the things make sense, so I don't think this story was made for you. I am actually a thirteen-year-old, therefore, if you were hoping to learn about a complex governmental organization and reasonable magic rules, well... I will spare you that. With it said, we shall begin from the top, from the top of the Winding Curved Hill.
