BLINDSPOTTING re-write (Collin x OC)

"We kissed"

Collin was a free bird, he showed up to work but didn't see Stasi anywhere, Val explained her courthouse was doing their bi-annual clear out so she was needed all day.

Collin wanted to talk about the fact that they kissed but never really talked about it after, he also just wanted to know how she was doing, it was obvious she wasn't sleeping or eating. His life was going extremely fast and he had forgotten about talking to Stas. He felt something when they kissed, he felt a spark he didn't even feel with Val.

Stasi was running around the courthouse, there was still that huge trial happening and everyone was in the house so Stasi and other assistants were cleaning, it was just like her moving gig.

Collin: hey, heard you're busy today, i wondering i could bring you lunch at like 2:00 and we could talk

Stasi: am I in trouble

Collin: no, not at all, just things I wanna talk about

Stasi: cool, I can't really make it a long talk because I'm so busy BUT I will accept food and maybe you could come over for dinner tonight and meet Tuxedo

Collin: I'll se you at two <3
Collin: also, I love the water bottle!

She just smiled and put her phone down, Stasi climbed the stairs and did her jobs, she was to clean out certain drawers and shred certain documents, as well as clean the desks of the old white men who populate this courthouse.

She kept thinking of the cop that held a gun to her head. She even daydreamed about it, it was one of the scariest things in the world to her, she hated guns and also knew as much as she could explain to the cop what she was doing they could have still taken her life in a moment, she thought of how Collin would have witness two different shootings, just didn't seem right to her- one was already enough.

Stasi walked down the stairs while rubbing her slightly less bruised wrist and headed to her front desk to check the phone, she noticed Ashley sitting there with Sean on her lap.

"Ashley?" Stasi walked up.

"Ah! Hi, just the person I wanted to see." Ashley stood up and put Sean on the ground.

"What's up?"

"I wanted to talk with you."

Why does everyone want to talk with me?

"Walk with me." Stasi began to walk to her desk, "I'm listening but I'm also working."

"Alright, well, when you came over for dinner I heard yelling from Sean's room after I called for dinner, I was just wondering if you were okay?" Ashley said sadly, "you seemed upset."

"Collin just told me before he went to jail for tax fraud when really he lied to me, we started over. I barley knew him and I still barley know him but I hate lying."

"Collin told me he went to jail for being a tough guy, same with you?" Sean asked.

"No, Collin and I went to jail because we were dumb." She looked at Sean dead in the eyes, "please, don't be dumb like us."

"Okay!" He jumped and smiled.

Ashley nodded, "I mean, Collin told me about what happened when you left... that cop." She whispered.

"Ya, it happened." Stasi shook her head, "I get nightmares." She admitted.

"You should talk to someone." Ashley said sadly.
