The room was black, the distant light from the office seeping down each hallway and lighting it up just enough to see the outline of the ragged posters that lined the walls. Bonnie straitened up and rubbed his eyes sleepily, then glanced to his left, carefully peering around the brown bear. "Where's Chica?" he wondered aloud, leaning his guitar against the speaker to his right and stepping off the stage quietly. Though he was curious as to his friends whereabouts, he didn't want to wake anyone up in his search attempt. "Maybe I'll just wait for Freddy to get up..." He took a seat at one of the tables near to the stage and rested his chin on his paws, his eyes scanning over the cloudy blue backdrop, then focusing on the bear. -mmph, how long is this gonna take?- He thought to himself, still studying the bear... it seemed like only a few seconds had passed, but in reality it had been about 10 minutes. Bonnie shook his head and blinked rapidly for a moment quickly taking his eyes off Freddy, "mmm... guess I zoned out-" he mumbled. Taking one last look at the bear, he stood and shuffled towards Pirates Cove to see if Foxy was awake yet. "H- Hey... Foxy- you up?" he grumbled impatiently, pulling the curtains open to reveal the fox curled up towards the back of the stage.
"Fo-"
He was cut off by a loud hiss and Foxy lunging at the curtains, sliding them closed again and retreating back to the far, shadow stricken side of his stage.
"Leave me alone!" Foxy growled, his accent especially noticeable through his angered tone.
Without replying Bonnie shuffled his way back to the stage, his face red with embarrassment. Thank god nobody had heard that... unnecessarily loud disturbance- right?
Freddy awoken, straightening his posture and fixated his attention to Bonnie. "WHO AWOKEN ME FROM MY SLUMBER!" Freddy growled. He wasn't necessarily talking to Bonnie, but he wanted to make sure, if it was Bonnie, that he heard him. Bonnie jumped and whipped around to face the bear.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Freddy-"
He stepped back up onto the stage, taking his place next to the ill tempered bear and grabbing his guitar.
"I didn't mean to- w- well I..." he kept his eyes down and scratched the back of his neck "S- Sorry... this one's on me- I bothered Foxy and he got mad. I- I was looking for Chica and-" he whispered resentfully, scrambling to find the right words and trying his best to avoid pissing anyone off further. "She's not here..." He stopped himself. -You sure are one for excuses, aren't you.- his face went red again and he blinked away a few tears. -Don't be such a baby.- he silently reprimanded himself, covering his face with his paws and turning his head away from his leader.
Freddy's attitude changed from angry to remorseful. "O-oh...." He noticed Bonnie's tears and felt even more bad. "I-it's all right Bon..." Freddy said, getting a little flustered. ^He looks so cute like that...^ He thought to himself. Freddy stretched automaticity yawning as a result. "Well, I'm already up....no use in going back to sleep....." He said, giving one last tiny stretch before stepping off the stage. "Still wanna know where Chica is?"
Bonnie cleared his throat and wiped his eyes, then looked up at Freddy. "I don't know..." he gave a weak chuckle, trying to distract himself from his own oversensitive nature"I don't want to bother you, I was just curious really... I guess it's not necessary."
Though he said this, he too stepped off the stage and accompanied Freddy next to one of the tables, looking him confidently in the eyes.
"Foxy's really scary right now, I would stay clear for a bit if were you." Bonnie warned
He glanced over Freddy's shoulder at Pirates Cove and locked eyes with Foxy, who was now poking his head out of the curtains.
"I heard that you feeble minded buffoons..." Foxy snarled, taking a seat on the edge of his stage and crossing his arms, now refusing to look at either of them.
Bonnie refocused his attention on Freddy. "Maybe he's hungry... I'm just gonna leave him I guess-" he shrugged "Foxy's never really made an effort to try and help you out at all. You must be really stressed, huh?"
Freddy gave a bold laugh. "Oh, you get used to it. Eventually, it feels like the stress has gone away in reality...." He said, looking a bit sad. "It hasn't..." They both stood there in silence for a while until Freddy said, "Well...we need to get this place cleaned up for our next big party, which means..." He eyed Foxy. "We need everyone to cooperate, F O X Y." Freddy walked towards Pirate's Cove as he said this. Foxy stifled a growl and stood, looking at Freddy and holding his arms out beside him in a threatening manor. "Who'm I even doin' this for? I'm dyin' in here and nobody even-" He stopped himself, knowing what he was about to say wasn't true. "Hrr... I'm not doin' this." He bared his teeth at the bear and backed away into his cove. "Stay out!" He snapped before going completely silent.
Bonnie scoffed and pulled out a chair, taking a seat and watching the cove carefully.
"You alright, Freddy?" he asked, trying to sound confident but instead getting his usual sheepish tone of voice. Freddy stayed silent, not taking any of Foxy's bullshit. "Grr..." He let a quiet growl and ripped opened the curtains. Freddy stomped in and grabbed Foxy by the non-existent shirt. "NOW-" He tried to calm himself down, but it was no use. "Now listen here, no one gives a shit what you think. I'll rip that jaw of yours clean off. You're gonna help if ya know what's good for ya." Freddy said, in such an intimidating tone, anyone who's nearby would get scared, even if they're not the ones being threatened.
Foxy whined and kicked his legs, but quickly quit it and shrugged, looking up at Freddy sadly.
"Aye Freddy... heh- I was just messin' around lad. You understand, don't ya?" he asked in a panicked tone.
Bonnie's eyes widened. He sat up, placing his paws on his knees and grinned "HA! That's what you get you old rustbucket!" He taunted, but the stern 'stay out of this' look he received from Freddy shut him up quickly, sending his usual purple face to a deep red and his eyes back to the ground.
"Oh, I understand all right. I understand that you'll be going another week without pizza. You can have salad instead." Freddy said in a evil tone and let go of Foxy and headed out of the Cove. "You'll also be cleaning the bathrooms and dining room." He said, with an evil smirk. "AUGHH-" Foxy yelped "Not the bathrooms, PLEASE!" he begged, placing his palms together as if he were praying.
Bonnie stood and returned to the main stage, as much as he wanted payback for being embarrassed by Foxy all those times before this, the guilt was starting to wear in and he didn't really want to hear his friends pleads anymore, they made him feel sick. He grabbed his guitar for the third time and gently strummed it, the soothing sound filling the echoey main room. He slumped over in the corner of the stage and began playing a light tune to shut out the noise, though he couldn't help but stare. -Freddy's so strong... and confident... and...- He smacked himself in the face. -What's wrong with you man, focus on your guitar.- He shook himself back into consciousness and continued playing, but the smug love-struck grin he was wearing stayed put.
