The sun revealed itself, saying hello as it came up behind the towering mountains and sharp-smelling pine trees. A brand new day had come to Earthni once again. It had been about a week and the aftermath of Astroida and her shadow sentinels were still being taken care of. Summer had shown its goodbyes as leaves began to fall to the ground, showing that autumn had arrived. All of the citizens of the land, monsters, mewmans, and humans alike, gathered together to help repair their home. Buildings were being rebuilt, businesses were being remade, and everything was being put back in their places, just as it was before.
Star, Moon, and Eclipsa supervised the repairs, making sure everything was being put back together with the way the citizens wanted it. Both of them were tempted to use their magic. However, due to the fact that all of this destruction was caused by said magic, it was a better idea if they held off on it unless it was absolutely necessary. Star thought that there was another time and place for a sparkle glitter bomb expand.
"Over there's good!...Noooo no not there! There!" Star called out to two monsters within eye distance who were carrying planks of wood. They put it down, crashing it on top of boxes filled with something breakable, making a loud breaking sound. She winced, hearing the noise. "Perfect." She hesitated to say. Although she was happy to do repairs, she was getting exhausted. Managing this many people was hard to do. She let out a sigh as Moon walked over to her.
"You're doing an excellent job, sweetie." Moon told her as she placed a hand on her shoulder. Star placed her hands on her face and rubbed it.
"You think so? I'm seriously getting acting queen flashbacks. I honestly thought all of this would be gone after Earth and Mewni collided." Star replied.
"All of what?" Moon asked her.
"This! You know. The managing, the building....the migraines." Star replied, rubbing her temple as she groaned.
"Changes bring new challenges. I too had to learn that when I was your age. It wasn't pleasant but after it was all done, it felt very uplifting knowing that I've accomplished something." Moon said. She took her hand and lifted Star's chin. "You're handling it just as well as I once did...maybe even better. And once this is all done, I'm sure that you will feel that same sense of accomplishment" Moon added. Star smiled. Suddenly, they both heard a crash coming from a little ways away. They turned at the sound.
"What was that?" Moon asked.
"Sorry!" A boy yelled from a distance.
"Someone who has corn for brains!" Star spoke. They ran to him, seeing Marco with a guilty look on his face as two monsters stood in front of a broken window, appearing very upset.
"Why don't you hold off your magic until everything is fixed, huh?" One of the monsters told him as he started picking up broken pieces of glass on the ground.
"Look, let me just-" Marco said, holding his hands up as they began to glow, lifting a box with his new magical powers.
"Marco!!" Star yelled. Marco quickly turned his head, seeing Star with an irritated look.
"Ah! Star!" Marco exclaimed out of surprise. The levitating box suddenly raced towards Star and Moon's direction.
"Duck!" Star yelled as she took her mother and pushed her down to safety. The box flew over their heads and continued to bolt down the street. A few townsfolk yelped and shouted, dodging the box until it hit a nearby traffic light. The traffic light fell from the impact as its lights shattered. Star and Moon stood back up as Star gave him a dirty look. She wasn't happy at all.
"Ooooooookay. Soooo that was a mistake." Marco nervously stated as he pointed to the mess.
"Marco? Do you remember what I told you this morning?" Star asked him.
