The Dark Island

Prologue

"MOM!! I have to go I need to catch my flight to New York City " I said then, mom responded, "Alright call me when you get there I love you!" I get in my car and drive to my destination while thinking * it's such a good day* I think I deserved this vacation after what's going on in the world weird lights in the sky and also a fake weird portal Appearing in the skies it's crazy what CGI can do these days but I didn't believe that stuff I just thought it's a hoax or something I then look out my window slowly trying to find my terminal I then said: "there it is!!"
I walk out of my car and grab my suitcase from the trunk of my car I then walk-in and head to my flight I give my ticket to the flight attendant and walk-in to the airplane I try to find my seat luckily I bought a ticket to business class I said "there is my seat " I sit down also putting my suitcase in the compartment above me I then hear on the intercom "buckle up we are taking off In 2 minutes" I buckle up and pull out my phone to see any news I then come across an article about a guy who supposedly saw a glimpse of something dark I then start laughing I mean this is funny this guy made this up, of course, I then feel my feet vibrate so I look out the window noticing that we are taking off so I pop my headphones on and turn on some music and slowly start relaxing
*30 Minutes Later*
I look out the window it's so beautiful I then look off to the side and I think the intercom probably turned on but it was probably mentioning the flight going to New York or something so I still kept my headphones on I then feel like my feet were being lifted and the masks fell from above I looked out the window rapidly and notice we were going down my headphones fell off I put on the mask and look around I can hear the people screaming I felt so much fear I thought to myself *Omg I'm going to die so young I love you mom * I close my eyes
