Yesterday, they made us sleep in the Great Hall. The entire Gryffindor Common Room. They closed everything around the castle and they act like we are in the army. They observe every single of our movements and it's stressing me out. They woke us up all at the same time to prepare the Great Hall for breakfast and now we're sitting here, waiting to go in Defense Against The Dark Arts class.
-Princess, you need to eat.
They probably realized my heart was not dedicated to foods right now. It's scaring me to be stuck inside one place, especially when this place is being watched over by scary creatures that are able to suck your soul out of your body just if they are hungry. I don't know how everyone can be so calm right now, or am I over reacting? It's not really Sirius Black that scares me the most, it's being restricted in a close place that gives me anxiety. We won't be free for a while now.
-I'm not hungry Freddie.
He do not insist. I did not say a word for the entire breakfast time but I think they realized something was wrong. Wrong enough to not give too much energy on trying to cheer me up. I'm grateful for that. They know I need peace.
-Sky?
-Mmh?
-We're gonna be late.
-Oh, right.
I get up the table and walk towards the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom with Ron and Harry. The castle is full of students, ghosts, teachers and other things but it feels empty. We walk in the halls and it feels like everything is slowing down, like Hogwarts lost it's last once of happiness left. Everything is bland, dark and close. The classroom is too but at least we can see the bit of sunlight there is left. We sit down to our seats awaiting to see Lupin enter the class but instead it's Professor Snape that decided to give us a theatrical entrance on this beautiful morning. He walks in between our desks without paying attention to us and go in front of the class, staring at us, analyzing us.
-Turn to page 394.
Me and Harry are a bit too bothered by Professor's lupin absence. Harry tries to ask Snape where Professor is but Snape stays cold, with closed answers.
-That's not really your concern, is it, Potter? Suffice it to say your professor finds himself incapable of teaching... at the present time.
Snape opens the projector by giving two to three taps over it with his wand. He sees that Ron decided to take his time to turn to page 394 so he switch his wand towards Ron's book for his pages to turn faster. Ron express a disgusted face when he sees the subject we talk about on the page 394.
-Werewolves?
-But sir, we just learned about red caps and hinkypunks. We're not meant to start that for weeks.
I am almost not surprised to see Hermione sitting next to Harry. When did she come in? No idea. But no one can be in two places at the same time, right?
-Quiet.
Ron looks more scared by Hermione's apparition than by the subject Snape assigned us. He turns to me.
-When did she come in? Did you see her come in?
I shrug my shoulders at him and he goes back to looking at the pages of his book while Severus walk past us to go back in front of the class.
-Now, which one of you can tell me the difference... between an Animagus and a werewolf?
Hermione and I raises our hands. Snape is not even looking at his students, he just assume we doesn't know. I hate how arrogant this man is.
