Jisung suddenly stopped.

"Wait, Felix I forgot to get my note!" he gasped, running back into the school building before Felix could stop him.

As he dashed through the hallways, Jisung felt the familiar warmth in his chest and the butterflies came back. It happened every time L.M's notes were nearby.

Jisung made it to his locker, and opened it hastily because he knew Felix and Minho were waiting. He twisted his combination in, only stopping once he heard the satisfying click.

Jisung stared inside his locker as it hung open.

There was no note.

The boy searched through his books and destroyed his backpack in a desperate attempt to find the lovingly folded note, but to no avail. For the first time in weeks, Jisung did not receive a note from L.M.

And of course he began downspiraling. <no that is not a word but i want this chapter out so :]

What did I do wrong?

What if L.M doesn't like me anymore?

It's probably my fault...

What if he thinks I don't like him?

Before Jisung could overthink anymore, Someone knocked on his locker, causing him to flinch and look in their direction.

It was the model-guy from one of his classes.

Hyunjin stared at Jisung awkwardly before clearing his throat.

"Um, are you okay? You were zoning out, and now you look sad..." He trailed off.

Jisung was surprised to say at the least. Was his mood-change that noticeable?

"O-oh yeah, I'm fine!"

"Okay- I know I don't look super approachable but you can talk to me if you ever feel like you did before...you know..-" Hyunjin mumbled, stumbling over his words.

Jisung felt a smile reach his lips as he soaked in what Hyunjin was implying. It felt nice knowing that he was being cared for even by people he wasn't really close with.

But then Jisung remembered that Felix and Minho were still waiting outside.

Not wanting to waste any more time, he got on his tiptoes and ruffled Hyunjin's hair, smiling heartily up at him and causing Hyunjin's breath to hitch. Jisung then took out his phone while Hyunjin tried not to squeal.

"That was really sweet of you, Hyunjin. Lixie- um, Felix and Min' hyung are waiting for me, but I would definitely love talking to you when I have something on my mind or when I'm free." He giggled, passing his phone to Hyunjin, who was confused.

"Um, what do I do?" He mumbled, to which Jisung giggled again.

"Put your number in, silly. So we can talk?"

Hyunjin stammered, surprising himself. "O-oh. Okay, yeah, for talking- of course."

Jisung gave him one last smile before closing his locker and running through the hallways, running down the hallways again and out of the building.

The next 30 minutes consisted of Felix piggy-backing a whining Minho.

"Felix, sharing is caring."

"What do you wanna share?"

"Chrispy bang-"

A thud was heard, and Jisung turned to see Minho on the floor, groaning.

Felix sent the elder a glare, not bothering to help him up. "Never. Gonna. Happen." He growled through his teeth.

Minho sighed defeatedly, but then turned his head from his spot on the sidewalk and put his arms up in Jisung's direction.

Jisung was confused, and Felix quickly caught on, stopping his glare-fest on Minho and evilly pulling out his phone to catch the next few moments on tape.

"Hyung, shouldn't you get up? I can help you-" Jisung said, reaching out to one of Minho's hands but the male shook his head vigorously.

"Piggy-back me." Minho grinned dumbly.

Jisung let out a little gasp, his cheeks reddening. He then cleared his throat. "Uh...me? But Felix can-"

"Not Felix, Felix is mean and doesn't share...and- and he threw me!" Minho yelled, jabbing a finger in the said boy's direction.

"He won't do it again-"

"No! I want you to piggy-back me!" Minho urged, making grabby hands at Jisung.

Felix cackled, nodding at Jisung to do as the older said.

"Um- okay." Jisung sighed, crouching.

Minho scurried behind Jisung and crawled onto the boy's back, hooking his arms around Jisung's neck and legs around his tiny waist. Jisung gasped at his weight, but it was reasonable since he had never piggy-backed someone. The smaller male held Minho's thighs in an attempt to lessen the weight on his back, and it worked. Minho wriggled around a bit before patting Jisung on the shoulder.

"I'm good, we can head towards home now." He giggled.

Felix stopped recording for the meantime, putting his phone away and then walking onwards. Jisung followed at a slightly slower pace due to the added weight.

About 20 more minutes into the long walk, Jisung felt the weight on his back shift multiple times. It was as if Minho was uncomfortable.

He stopped, turning his head to the side and whispering, "Hyung, are you uncomfortable? You can go back to Felix if you want."
