C H A P T E R 2

I got in the car and closed the door behind me,

" I still hate him," I said trying to prove a point to my mom.

"Not from what I can see," Theo laughed.

"Theo I've changed my mind, I'm not going to hex you. . . I'm going to kill you!" I stated as I pulled out my wand once again.

"You're not going to kill him or hex him now put your wand away, Millie!" My mom shook her head in disbelief.

"Can I at least stun him!" I pleaded "it will shut him up till we get home,"

"Amelia Nott!" My mom warned.

"Mom I think you made a mistake, you meant Amelia Malfoy," my brother laughed along with my dad.

"Fuck off Theo!" I growled as I turned to look out the window.

"Theodore stop bothering your sister," my mom hissed.

"Yeah Theo" I mumbled, I didn't look away from the window till we got home. Our house was very similar to the Malfoy manor but it was closer to muggle towns so we decided to use cars as our transportation. "Mom when are we seeing the Malfoy's again?" I asked her once Theo got out of the car.

"You won't get to see him again till Hogwarts," she smiled at me. "Do you like him more now?"

"I mean In the end does it matter?" I asked her cooly.

"Yes, it does matter!" She protested.

"But does it? You're going to make me marry him either way!" I laughed.

"Hun, I'm sorry but it's for the best!" She started and when I ignored her she continued "You have to marry a pureblood because-"

"Yeah yeah, I know, because our family's apart of the sacred 28. . . blah blah blah" I groaned as  I jumped out of the car. I poked my head through the window and gave my mom a forced smile. "And it just so happens the Malfoy's want to keep the sacred 28 as well, what about Theo, huh?"

"We've been over this, it just so happens he's dating Daphne Greengrass!" She protested.

"Yeah, but he got to choose!"

"There aren't many boys to choose from! Malfoy is your best bet and they're our friends!" She explained.

"No mom, they're your friends!" I said before slamming the car door and walking inside. The whole thought of this made me sick to my stomach! My parents are practically giving me a way to the Malfoy's, and I don't t have a  choice. I walked up to my room and slammed the door. How could she not understand, it's a big deal.

She goes on and on about how she and dad worked out great but she and dad were friends in school. I don't even know Draco, he's just that jerk in the Slytherin common room who picks on all the first years.

I sat down on my bed and pulled out my book. I opened it and started to read.

"Lia dinners ready!" My brother called.

"What did you call me?" I asked him confused.

"Lia," he teased.

"Don't call me that," I hissed.

"Oh, can only Draco call you Lia?" He smiled at me.

"Yes now fuck off!" I yelled at him.

"Dinners ready!" He said again.

"I'm not hungry," I said before looking back at my book.
