marauders one shots (mainly sirius's)

vodka and cigarettes

it was a snowy night at hogwarts, in gryffindor tower there was a door, the door had the words, sirius, remus, james and peter with a drawing of a dog, wolf, deer and rat, inside there were 4 red beds all placed in a square shape, on the bottom left corner were the words moony/remus, on the top left corner were the words wormtail/peter, on the bottom right were the words padfoot/sirius and on the top right were the words james/prongs, each bed had a person in it, in remus's bed was a sleeping, skinny, sandy haired boy with scars across his face, in james's bed was a sleeping, brunette, muscular boy with glasses on his face that he must have forgotten to take off, in peters bed there was a sleeping, plump, small boy with light brown hair, in sirius's bed there was a wide awake, black hair, muscular boy with hair going slightly past his shoulders.

sirius was wide awake staring at the ceiling, he tried 7 times to go to sleep but it never worked, he was thinking about his home life and his so called 'family' constantly kicking him over and over again, a tear escaped his eye and he quickly wiped it away 'blacks never cry, crying is a weakness' he thought, he got up, put on dark blue jeans with rips in the knees, a black t-shirt and a leather jacket, he walked out the room quite enough so no one could hear him, he opened the portrait and left gryffindor common room, he snuck out of hogwarts and onto the grounds near the black lake, there was snow everywhere it was beautiful, sirius sat down under a tree that was covered in snow, the ground underneath was fine tho, he pulled out a lighter and 2 packs of cigarettes, he lit one cigarette and took a few drags, when he finished it he put the cigarette on his arm causing burn marks to appear, he then accioed a glass cup and vodka, he tipped it into the glass and drank it in less than 20 seconds and this went on until he finished the whole bottle, he had dark bags forming under his eyes and hes cheeks were rosy, he led down and looked at the stars as the snow fell, he was now on his 2nd pack of cigarettes and he smoked another one, blowing the smoke into the stars.

a hour had passed and sirius was a mess, he heard footsteps crunching in the snow but didn't pay any attention to them "sirius?" a boy asked, sirius sat up to see none other than remus "what are you doing out here?" he asked, remus looked to the ground to see a empty pack of cigarettes and empty glasses with the remains of vodka in it, "sirius orion black!! have you been drinking?!" remus yelled, sirius just led back on the ground completely ignoring remus "sirius dont ignore me!" he yelled "piss off mooney" sirius said, remus could read sirius like a book, well sometimes, he knew something was up with sirius so he led down next to him "what's wrong pads?" he asked "nothing is wrong moons" he replied slurring his words "cmon pads, you can tell me" he said, remus was now leaning his back on the tree and sirius's head was on his lap with remus's hands intertwined with sirius's hair, "if i tell you, promise you won't tell anyone?" he asked, he was so drunk he was about to spill his darkest secret "ok i promise" remus said "im only telling because im drunk and sad ok?" "ok" "well, you know how my parents dont really like me much?" sirius said "mhm" replied remus, they never really knew about sirius's home life much but every year he would come back with a bruise or a cut, they all thought it was from sirius falling, because that's what sirius told them "well they sort of- i-im gay" he finished, not wanting to tell mooney about the abuse his parents put im through "oh my" "im sorry, i shouldn't have told you, im just a failure, it doesn't matter" sirius interrupted, there was silence for a while until sirius said "they named most the blacks after stars, sirius is the dog star, orion is known as the hunter constellation and andromeda is the galaxy" "oh well, come on then, you need to sleep" remus said "i love you mooney, and i dont mean friend way" sirius said "i-i sirius i-" "it's fine nevermind, im slightly drunk and sad, i-it doesn't matter, see you moo-" remus cut sirius off by kissing his lips, sirius kissed back and there lips connected like magnets, they pulled apart and remus said "i love you too".
