3rd person pov
Shoutos eyes widened as rei grabbed the kettle. what had he done to deserve this? He had always prefered his mother to his father. he suddenly jumped as the boiling hot water was poured onto his face.
"You're not my son, you're a monster"!!
He stared, in shock, how could his own mother say that to him?
Rei dropped the kettle and broke in tears
" I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry"! she yelled with a shaky voice.
She used her ice quirk to try to stop it from burning, not thinking about the scarring that would happen after.
4 hours later
"wake up pirate"
Shouto jumped. he had a long day, he just wanted to sleep.
"hey!!! "
he jumped again, someone had slapped him.
"Who is here..? " he asked, in a scared but sleepy voice.
"It's me, touya, stupid" the older boy spoke
"oh.. why are you in my room?" shouto asked, while turning on the light.
"I'm running away and I want you to come with me"
shouto froze. what should he say? he still loves his mom, even though she gave him a scar, but she was not to blame for it, it was enji that was at fault.
"But I don't want to leave mom.. " shouto whined
"She's already left you. Dad made her go to some hospital place" Touya replied, slightly grinning.
"Oh... where will we go? " shouto looked up at his older brother in hope he found a new family they could have instead
"somewhere more heroic then what dad has ever been" Touya replied. And with that Shouto knew his brother had a plan.
