This is a recap of everything leading up to Chapter 1

Danielle Richardson was born in San Diego, California. Her mom died when she was 6, and her dad tried to stay in San Diego for Dani, but he couldn't be reminded of his late wife anymore. Dani and her dad moved to Mullingar and Dani made friends with the boy next door, Niall Horan.

They were best friends, and they had fights, and they were friends again, just like any other childhood friendship. They went through the awkward preteen years together. Niall was there for Dani when she broke her arm. Dani was there for Niall when some kids teased him about liking to sing. The pair was always there for each other.

Niall and Dani are now in the last year of school. Over the past summer, Dani had a huge glow up. She decided she would start working on herself, for herself. She started to do things like journaling, yoga, working out, eating healthy, and by the end of the summer, she was a better person, mentally and physically. Niall had a glow up too. He started going to the gym a lot more. He was working on his music all the time. Let's just say, the two of them got hot, and not from the summer heat.
