4: First Day Back

Isabella's Pov
Today was my first day back at school and I didn't know how to feel. I was currently trying my best to get Ivy up so she can get dropped off at day care since all of her grandparents had to work. But it wouldn't be Ivy if she didn't put up a fight. "Come on baby all you gotta do is put on another shoe.", I said trying to get her attention. But whatever was behind me got her attention and she ran to it.

"Good morning daddy!", Ivy yelled at the top of her lungs. "Good morning baby, I thought we had a talk about not giving me or your mother a hard time on getting ready?", he questioned her as he brought her over to me. "We did, I sowwy mommy.", Ivy said hugging my neck. "Its ok baby just put on your shoe so we can go eat pancakes and good morning Michael.", I said as I put on her last shoe.

"Good morning Bells, but whats up with you calling me Michael or Anthony?", he said as he grabbed Ivy as I got ready. "Its your name isn't.", I said answering his question. "But you know how I feel about it.", He retorted.

"Michael Anthony is the name you were given when you came out the womb so that it what you will be called until I feel like calling you Turtle again."
"But..."
"No buts Michael now lets go have breakfast."
"Okay"

Isabella's Pov
The moment I stepped out of the car with Mikey all eyes were on me. The glares I got from some girl as he guided me through the big crowd. But the whispers did not go unnoticed me and Mikey both her them. They were questioning why I was back, why was mikey all on me, and most importantly didn't she have a baby. I tried my best to ignore them knowing that these were the consequences that came with my actions 2 years ago. However, I will not let these $2 cheap perfume wearing having headed hoes get the best of me. I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard Mikey say period.

"Did you hear me?", I asked curious because what I said was kinda corny. "Yea I did and dat shit was funny as hell. You should have seen how serious you looked when you said it but come on we at the office.", he said as he wiped a fake tear from underneath his eye.

It was now lunch time and I had all my classes with Mikey so he decided to show me around its not like he had a choice though. We were currently making our way to go sit down with Bronny, Dior, Jhayde and the rest of his team mates. I was about to sit down by Mikey when some girl pushed me and I landed into Jhayde.

"Hey Mikey why was that whore getting ready to sit next to you. You she has a kid right?", said this blonde headed bimbo. Yes I understand Mikey probably fucked a few bitches here and there over the past 2 years but some of the people he fuck psychotic. "Well for one Bethany she is not a whore and two dats my kid you talking about so watch ya mouth and go do something better with.", He said as he dismissed her and came over to help me.

"Oh and put your hands on my babymomma again and I won't hesitate to let her and her best friend beat yo ass. Do you understand?"
"Yes."
"Fuck finally got rid of her dumbass. She don't even know the difference between her left and her right.", he said as he stole a fry off of my plate.

   "Why would you do dat?", I said as my New Orleans accent came through. "Slow ya role mamas imma take you and bug to get chick-fil-a after we pick her up.", he said as he put his arm around me.

Mɪᴋᴇʏ's Hᴏᴜsᴇ

We were currently at Mikey's house sitting in the kitchen eating and talking to his family about my
first day at school. " Isabella what happened today at school?", Mikey's mom asked me. " Well you see what had happened was that who ever Mikey had a fling with after we broke up came and pushed me away from him basically calling me a whore and this that and the third. Then Mikey come over towards the commotion and stood up for me saying that the next time she try me imma beat her ass.", I said answering he question.

" Is this true Mikey?", his mom questioned him next. " Yes it did .", he said while breaking apart Ivy's chicken nuggets for her. "Daddy protected mommy right Bug?", Mikey asked Ivy as he put a tiny piece of fry into her mouth. He also said " But before you answer me chew and swallow your food completely.". I thought it was cute because Mikey has only been around her for four days but has jumped head first into the water and still managed to stay a float. Ivy is completely in love with him and you can tell he feels the same way about her.

  Do I regret not tell him her? Yes and no. I say that because at the time I felt conflicted about my emotions and didn't need added stress on my pregnancy because I was scared I could lose my unborn child. I was broken out of my thoughts when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I took my phone out and saw that Ivy had a doctors appointment tomorrow. I wanted to ask Mikey did he want to go. I might as well do that now.

  "Hey Turtle do you wanna go to Ivy's doctors appointment with me tomorrow? I'm also not going to school because her appointment is going to take forever and she is gonna be a little upset due to s-h-o-t-s.", I asked him just realizing I called him turtle which caused me to blush.  " Of course, so does that mean you are spending the night again?" He said responding to my question. "Yea, I guess let me head home and get some clothes for me and Ivy.", I said as I got my keys. I gave Mikey and Ivy a kiss on the forehead before I left.

  It felt weird being back around Mikey. Like it felt normal, well it is my new normal for the rest of my life. I guess what I'm trying to say is it feels to good to be true. Will we be able to make us work while also being there for Ivy? I don't know but am I willing to try yes.
