We have been running for a while and it's still kind of boring. When killua gets fussed at by a guy with a suitcase. A kid in green defends him so I don't have to and I continue running beside him. They start talking to each other when Kill decides to run as well. I begin to listen to his heart rate to make sure he won't push himself to hard and he's okay.

A giant stair case lays ahead of Gon, Kill, and I. We had some rough patches but we are almost at the end! I hear Gon and Killua say they wanna see who's faster so we start full on sprinting up the stairs. When one of us gets ahead the rest catch up so it's insanely close. Time passes insanely quickly and I begin to get tired how vet I can't give up. I can't let my friends down with my slowness and lacking. I have to keep up or else they won't like me anymore. I must be better. We keep running and we finally get to the top those two jump out right as satotz steps out. He seems surprised however it's quite normal with those two.

"I checked your heart rates and they both were healthy and your guys breathing is normal so I believe you both will be fine. Please tell me if you feel any pain or if you are uncomfortable" I inform Killua and Gon.

"Have you been keeping track this whole time?" Gon asks with curiosity lacing his voice

"Well I wanted to make sure you both were okay and happy..." I stated cautiously as I looked towards my feet and fiddled with my fingers. To my surprise I was suddenly tackled be the two who were laughing.

"That's so nice (y/n)!" They shouted together. I smiled these two are amazing.

When they got off of me I was offered two hands. One from each of the boys I accepted their help and they pulled me up quickly.

I looked out and saw a lot of mist in front of us. It covered a large forest we had to pass through. The guide explained how we might get deceived which will lead to certain death. I started shaking when I heard that but a gentle hand was placed on my shoulder I turned around to see kurapika standing there trying to comfort my shaking form. I turned around and hugged him. His cheeks lit up so I checked his temperature with my hand and asked if he was okay to which he replied with a sweet smile and a im fine.

I turned back towards the explanation to find a man holding a creature that looked like satotz however I immediately knew who was real. Everyone gasped and started murmuring.

One guy said that explains why he could walk so fast however I was quick to deny it.

" excuse me but what if he's just extremely talented. That would make sense to why he's a hunter and could pass the test." I interjected as fast as possible.

I saw cards flash by my vision into the imposter man and to satotz fingers. Followed by a quiet chuckle.
" I see now, that settles it then. So u are the real one. The examiners are hunters each hand picked by the comitee to do this without pay. And going off of the little dogs point over there they are extremely talented and can protect themselves from those cards easily." Sir clown said to which the examiner replied by saying not not attack the examiners again or else he will be eliminated from this years test.

We started running when I heard a whistle. My ears sprouted under my hat trying to hear where the sound was coming from. I ran over to the noise to find Mr Hisoka whistling. He saw me and stopped.

" If it isn't little puppy~" he purred

" hi mr clown sir" I said in a tired tone then yawned.

" are you tired little one?" He asked sounding concerned.

"Yeah, but I gotta keep going so no one will hate me" I said now almost nodding of while running since the fog was making me sleepy. All the sudden my feet weren't touching the ground but I was still moving. I was confused until I realized I had been picked up by Mr Hisoka.

" you can take a little nap I'll carry you to the second phase I promise you'll be safe," he claimed convincingly. I mumbled an okay and fell asleep quickly on his warm chest feeling not so alone in his arms."
