"I love you too. Please don't beat yourself over this."

"Y/N!!!! NO!!!!"

*GASP!!*

You woke up from your slumber. You sat up on your bed and tried to process everything. 

"It was all a dream..." You mumbled. Little did you know that you would be crying over that dream. 

It felt so real. All the emotions and scenes felt like they actually happened to you. One thing was certain though. 

You still loved Dahyun. After two years of trying to forget her, you still felt your heart beating for her. 

"I won't deny my feelings again." You thought.

Today was your last day of your military service. You were finalizing your duties and began packing. You made sure to bring everything that you brought from home and of course souvenirs from your time in the military.

The first thing you were going to when you get back is to get Dahyun back. You want to continue where your relationship was left off which was to get engaged and then married to her. 

TIME SKIP

Dahyun's POV:

It has been two years since you left for the military. I broke up with the other guy after you left because I could not hide my feelings for you anymore. 

I still love you. And I always will. 

I was so stupid back then. Why am I so weak? I should have tried to endured longer. I hope you come back soon. I want to hug you forever and send you chocolates everyday like in the past. 

I love you still.

Right now, me and my group members are just in our dorm relaxing. Mina and Chaeyoung were painting each other's nails. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo are just on their phones talking to their family. Momo and Sana are taking a nap. That leaves Tzuyu and I. Me and her were just cleaning our room.

Both of us were talking about random subjects until Tzuyu brought you up.

"Unnie? Do you think Y/N will ever come back?"

I froze when I heard your name. I did not know why she asked so suddenly?

"Uh, I think he will. Why do you ask?"

"I just miss him. We are in debt to his heroic actions. He always came by to check how we are doing. Not that I have feelings for him, but I just think that he deserves the best you know?" Is she trying to make me feel bad? I quickly turned around to look at her and she became a bit defensive.

"Unnie-- I did not mean to say that. I was just saying that Y/N is a good person- I-" And at that moment, I shed my tears. I couldn't hold it in anymore. 

Everyday I blamed myself for letting you go. I believed that the reason you went to the military was because you hated me. We could have had the perfect life, but I had to ruin it. 

As I cried, Tzuyu came to my side and embraced me. She began patting my back and ensured that everything was going to be alright. 

"Dahyun-ssi, Y/N will forgive you. I know he will. He is a good person and things will be better." Tzuyu whispered. 

Will everything really be alright though? 

As we let go from each other's embrace, we heard the door bell ring. It was probably a package or something until I heard the other members scream. 

"YOU ARE BACK!!!!" That scream seemed like it was Nayeon's. 

"YA!!! WHY DID YOU NOT CONTACT US AT ALL?!?!?!" Jihyo scolded.

Whatever happened downstairs caused both of us to immediately head down the stairs to check it out. As soon as we went to the living room, I was immediately greeted with something or rather someone that I thought I would never see again.

You.

You stood there with your military uniform still on. You gotten a lot more buff, and it made me blush. 

"Y/N-oppa!!!" Tzuyu ran to Y/N to greet him. You noticed her immediately and gave her a pat on the head. 

"Hey Tzuyu, did you miss me?" 

"I did oppa, but not as much as her." Tzuyu gestured towards me, and I froze. 

We both stared at each other. I did not know what to think. Are you still mad me? Will everything be alright? 

It was then you showed your signature smile that I felt that everything might be fine.

"Hey Dahyun..." you called out my name. I haven't heard your voice in so long. It felt so good to hear your voice again after 2 years. 

Without thinking about it, I ran to hug you.

Sniff

"Let's give them a moment." Jihyo said as she gathered all the girls upstairs. 

TIME SKIP

We were now sitting in the living room and talking about what happened in the past two years.

"And there was this one time where I fell in a giant ditch and almost rolled my ankle. God that was embarrassing." You laughed. 

"Ah Y/N, you should be more careful!!! Who knows whether I might see you again!!!" I exclaimed. 

That caused you to suddenly stop talking. The atmosphere suddenly became quiet. You then looked at me with an unreadable expression. Something was bothering you, and I think you knew it too.

"Dahyun-ah, I have to tell you something." You grabbed my wrists and sighed. 

I breathed and prepared myself. I gave you a nod to proceed.

"The past two years, I tried to forget that we were even a thing. I really did try, but every night I got nightmares." You paused.

"What nightmares? It's okay if you don't want to talk about it." 

"No, I need to because it deals with you." You paused and breathed in again.

"I had nightmares about me not being able to see you again. They felt so real that I felt like I died." 

"Y- You- died? In your dreams?" 

You nodded and held my hand. Gosh, I really miss holding your hands. It really felt like we were meant to be again.

"Dahyun-ah... I know what I need to do. I do not know if I am ever going to get another chance at this, but can we go back to the ways things were? Can you be my lover again? I know this may seem sudden but--"

And with that I kissed you. I did not need to hear your reasons why. I just wanted to come back to your arms. You were shocked that I kissed you but you slowly gave in. 

"I am sorry about breaking your heart. I was so stupid back then, but I would like to try again if you are." I smiled at you. 

You proceeded to kiss me on my cheek and engulfed me in another hug.

"I love you Dahyun."

"I know. I love you too." I responded as we cuddled on the couch and embraced each other to make up for all the lost time.
