"Frogadier!"

I ran up to my precious partner, hugging him, shielding him from the wild Drapion.

I, along with my Pokémon Frogadier, were walking peacefully in the forest, until the peace was no more when we encountered a wild Drapion.

I sent Frogadier to battle with it but he got poisoned and now he's slowly losing health.

I hugged him close as I heard a weak "froga" from him. That just broke my heart completely.

I couldn't run with him because I sprained my ankle trying to run before.

I just realised.. this might be the last time we see each other. That Drapion is too strong, we won't be able to fight it.

For the last time, I smiled at Frogadier and said "It's my turn to protect you" as a tear rolled down my cheek.

I hugged Frogadier even closer as Drapion was ready to use night slash on us.

And then suddenly, Frogadier ran out of my arms and stood in front of me.

No he's gonna get hit! I thought but it was too late for me to do anything.

Suddenly Frogadier started changing form as a bright white light surrounded him.

Is he, evolving?

From the light I saw a blue shuriken being thrown at the psycho cut attack when it was about to hit Frogadier.

Then smoke surrounded everything when the shuriken and the cut met.

They were really powerful moves!

The smoke slowly started fading away as well as the bright light and I finally saw what was Infront of me.

My Frogadier was no more, insted there was another Pokémon that looked just like a ninja.

I took my Pokédex out of my pocket and pointed it at the Pokémon.

"Greninja, the ninja Pokémon, and the evolved form of Frogadier. Greninja can compress water into sharp edged throwing stars. With a grace of a ninja, it slips in and out of sights to attack from the shadows"

I was shocked. Greninja looks so different, and strong. He also learned a new move!
Alright let's get back to the battle!

I stood up as Greninja opened it's red eyes and glared at the Drapion.

"Greninja use water shuriken!"

Greninja jumped in the air, made two water shurikens, slapped them together and threw it at the Drapion.

It hit the Drapion and it instantly fainted.

Holy moly! That move is so strong!

Greninja landed on the ground as gracefully as a ninja and turned to me with worry written all over his face. He speed walked to me and wiped my tear away using his hands? (I don't know what frogs hands are called so I'll just call them hands)

I was completely shocked, he looks so handsome! Greninja grabbed my hand and put my hand on his head.

I was so shocked to even move but I snapped out of it and slowly patted his head earning a "grenin" from him.

Even though he looks big and scary, he will always be small and gentle in my heart.

And just like that, we went to the nearest Pokémon center for Greninja to get healed up.
