friday

my eyes flutter open and my hand goes to turn off my alarm.

damn it i was having a good dream

i waste no time and jump out of bed and head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my business

after a couple of minutes i finish up in the bathroom and go to my closet to pick out a fit for todays class

i heard we're starting a new choreography today so i'm gonna be put to work

i choose black leggings and and baggy t shirt

i grab my bag and put all the things i need. deodorant, perfume, my wallet, extra pair of shoes and a extra shirt just in case

i put my bag to the side and start to clean up my room. i made my bed, put all the clothes on the floor, away in the laundry bin or back in my closet. i open my curtains and i head to the kitchen

after i fix myself a bowl of cereal, mia and kaycee meet me in the kitchen. i sit down on one of the stools and start eating

ashley: good morning
mia: morning
kaycee: hi

these 2 are my best friends. i've always lived with my dad and a couple of months after he passed away, i met mia at a dance academy 2 years ago. we hit it off right away. then a year after that we both met kaycee and we became this trio. we moved in together soon after we met kaycee after we all were LA based with our dance

mia has family in chicago and kaycee has her family in california so they go away for a bit to go visit their families. i just stay in our apartment alone

it sounds sad but it's not. i'm okay with not really having any family members. basically mia and kaycee are my family.

i do get lonely when they leave but there's nothing i can do you know

mia: you're already ready ?
ashley: yes class starts at 10 and it's 9:15 so y'all need to hurry up and get ready or i'll leave without y'all
kaycee: no you wouldn't
ashley: try me kay

kaycee put her hands up like a surrender and they left back to their rooms to go get changed

they obviously can drive and have their own cars but we like going in one car when we drive to dance

i finished my cereal and cleaned the dishes that were left from last night and then sat on the couch waiting for them to finish getting ready

9:30 am

i hear mia and kay coming from their rooms so i grab my bag and my keys and head to the door. both of them grabbed an apple and we all headed down to my car

mia: shotgun
kaycee: damn it

i get in the drivers seat laughing while mia gets in the front

i start driving out of the parking lot and mia connects to aux

ashley: oh by the way, i heard we're starting a new choreo
kaycee: bruh on a friday ?
ashley: i know but we do have classes on saturdays and we'll just pick up on monday but i heard so i don't know if it's true or not
mia: okay well both of you guys shut up so i can play my music
ashley: damn that was rude
