Hi! I'm NeVeah Carter. People call me Veah. I have six siblings. My oldest brother is Devin. He's 17. My sister is next. She's 15, her and her twin. LaKia and LaQuan. She's older than Quan by two minutes. Next is me. I'm 13. After me, its the twins Shawna and Shawn. They're 9. The baby of us is Demarco. He's five years old.

Our mama is a lawyer. Our daddy is a heart surgeon. I love my daddy. I'm a daddy's girl. I love my mama too. But my daddy has my heart. Right now I'm at school with my friends. I'll introduce them.

First is Chloe. Her mama is a nurse. Her daddy is in the military, but she isn't a military brat. She's the calm, quiet, shy person. Next is A'Kira. Her mother is a school teacher. Her father died in a car accident. She's the goofy one. She's also the shut in. Poor thing doesn't know anything. She has absolutely no freedom. Then its Terica. She's the mean one. Her daddy has nothing but boys. Her mama died from lung cancer. But Sapphire is the nice one. Both her parents are dead. She lives with her older brother Simon. He's over-protective over her. Its cute tho. Last is me. I'm the hyper one. A'Kira and I are alike, both goofy.

Anyways that's us. Jeremiah and his crew were staring over here. "Look at Miah," I said. We all started laughing. "He's so fine," Kira said. "Ok. Shut-in," I said. We started laughing. "Really tho," she said in her British accent. We all laughed.

"Miah coming over here," Sapphire said. She was right. Miah and his crew were heading over here. "Wassup yaww?" Miah's accent drawled out. He come from New Orleans. You can tell. "Grades of course," Chloe said. "The sky," Terica said. "The ceiling, if you think about it," Sapphire said. "Food," Kira said. "Nun much," I replied. "Veah the only cool one," Miah said. He put his arm around my shoulder. I smiled.

"Duh err'body know that," I said my accent dripping. We live in LA. But I came from Jackson, Missisippi. "Y'all got that southern drawl," Chloe said. All of us did really. Chloe is the only one of us that didn't come from the south. She an oddball.

"NeVeah ain't nun but a pain in the butt," Kira said. "Hater mode or nah?" I asked. "Or nahhh," Kira sang. We laughed. "So y'all chilling in gym or nah?" Miah asked. "Or nah!" Terica said. "Sure," Kira shrugged. "I don't mind," Sapphire said. "I'm down," Chloe said. "Its whatever," I said. We all agreed to chill in gym.

I love my friends. I love my family too. I love my life.
